  1. because he insulted the commissioner of the league for one!. you think that is ok??? should he have carte blanche to denigrate the office of the commissioner of the league?? , much less his teammates?? , regardless of their past?? as an aside, not sure if the "rapist" was convicted..
  2. he is a thug.. not a steeler type .. would not be surprised they cut him.. as much as i want the bills to upgrade , do not want him. it is not being a "goody two shoes" , but he called out a teammate. he is not worth the trouble. he has disrespected the office of the commissioner, he should be fined, suspended, whatever.
  3. i popped in the denver game where they blocked a field goal, then leonard smith on the next possession recovers a fumble, again, the crowd was deafening! loved that game. i believe it was 1990, what a team, loved smith.
  4. i kinda hope that wood and levitre are establishing the bond that wohlford and hull had. i remember when hull and wohlford had sabre season tickets together. we all know how that tandem worked out. lets hope it is works for these two!
  5. i think the media in buffalo is woefully "dropping the ball" here. the fans are being totally disrespected by the bills company line of "being sold to the highest bidder". why cant a member of the media grow a set and press the bills on this, i know john wawro did interview ralph and did provide us with some insight, but why cant somebody at least ask brandon why the issue is being ignored and no info is forthcoming ? i know the 'reverance" we all must show ralph, but the fans are entitled to some dignity here.
  6. will that scenario work?, three teams in chicago, three in LA, 4 in NYC, is that what the league wants? does it wanna be like major league baseball which no one cares about outside of the philly, boston and nyc corridor. i sure hope not, but, hopefully if that happens, jerry jones and dan snyder, robert kraft , will eat themselves up, metaphorically speaking.
  7. my point, today, the owners are meeting in chicago, is ralph there?? if not , who is ??, who is deciding how ralph thinks? is ralph thinking at all?.. not trying to be flip, just very curious..
  8. nice read, makes me proud to be from buffalo, no place like it on the face of the earth!
  9. i fear that is where it is headed. that is ultimately what the courts would rule if it ever got taken to that point. if it does, then, screw em! the goose will be killed, the dollars will shrink, and they will have self-destructed.
  10. that seems logical for sure, but leads to me thinking about other questions . who determines when ralph is incapable of making decisions? , who decides that?, is he in fact, making decisions now?, these are just things i wonder about. is he mentally competent to decide his position on the new CBA?
  11. curious, why all the hush hush about the plan? why cant a comment or two come from him, or someone within the hierarchy be made to soothe us?
  12. i sure hope you are right, obviously, it is what i want to believe and hope beyond hope , it is true. the headline in PROFOOTBALLTALK.COM makes me nervous though.
  13. completely correct!, if he is not satisfied, sell the friggin team! but he obviously wont because he, like the rest of the NFL, are printing money!. sick of his complaining "small market " B S continuously.
  14. i am not envious of ralph's. or anyone's "money", it is the owners , including ralph, of trying to squeeze every last cent they can, in the name of "fiscal responsibily". i totally understand the nuances of maintaining a small market team like the bills and keeping it viable, but where does it end. last time i checked, most private enterprises do not get subsidies to maintain their business as ralph does from erie county. the points could be argued endlessly concerning the economics of the NFL, but i steadfastly maintain that ralph is cheap.
  15. cool, name-calling.. best you got pal? dont let a point missed get in your way of calling someone an "idiot"
  16. but they are profitable, not everybody can be rich. again, if he isnt rich enough, let someone else buy it. there are plenty of local prospects who are not as greedy as ralph.
  17. why not raise the price of tickets??? what is so wrong about that?he could always sell if he doesnt like his return. he wont though, wonder why, couldnt be because he is making money hand over fist could it? his meddling and poor judgments made over the years has been based on advice from littman and the detroit crew, it is bottom line mentality. not that there is anything wrong with that, but it is old and tiring.
  18. it would not surprise me that it may be ralph. despite all the kudos he gets for keeping the team in buffalo, his tightness is legendary, he is greedy, plain and simple. cue the all the ralph defenders and how we are a small market, etc, etc, etc,..and he is watching out for us.. yada yada .. please..
  19. that is a pretty negative comment, why the need to say something like that?
  20. i think the bills really have a nice crop of receivers. getting evans involved obviously improves the offense. i am an eternal optimist when it comes to the bills and the skill positions seem in tremendous shape to me. sure tight end seems to be an ever-lasting concern, but RB's and wide-outs seem above average , to me.
  21. i hope it is a moot point also, but i hate the toronto game regardless. i sure hope next year is the last one!
