  1. The two most damaging things that led to our econonmic crisis: 1-Greed of Wall Street and CEOs...and continued greed.... 2-Barney Fife Frank and Chris Dodd (both headed Fanny-Mae/Freedy Mac) strong-arming banks to giving minorities mortgages they knew they couldn't afford. This is called political correctness. Bush let this happen because the buck stops with him. But the dems/libs/socialists/victims whatever you want to call them are very much at fault as well. Obama's stimulus plan (as well as Bush's) will not help the economy just like FDR's new deal did not work (it was WWII that brought us out of the depression--not the New deal). The only way to let the economy recover is to let the free-market create jobs....even if it means crash and burn. But that is political suicide. Obama is nationalizing banks, medicine, and other commerce--in other words the government now owns the banks , and control healthcare. We see how well government manages other affairs. This is called socialized democracy. Once you go there, there's no turning back. We are turning into Europe but with a deflated dollar.
  2. Good the D-Line sucked last year. We were pushed off the ball just about every single game after Seattle.
  3. You obviously have no idea what you are watching...none! The guy is the best runner inside the red zone in the AFC and he is NOT a straight-line runner--some of his moves are staggering. Just WOW! But then I always say about 70% of this board is clueless.
  4. You're probably one of them idiots who wants Gitmo closed because we treat those poor murderer terrorists so badly. Miami is the WORST city in America--it is a banana republic run by cockroaches.
  5. Kind of like "change." The mindless sheep bought it.
  6. Yeah, but lynch is much better than McGahee. McKelvin will be better than Clements for sure. And I guarantee Smith will be better than Peters. It would have been nice to have both Fletch and Poz.
  7. Good comeback. You...I like.
  8. Frankly, I hate a lot of the posters on this board.
  9. Ralph will not spend nor will any top tier Free Agent come to Buffalo even for the right price. Get this straight in all of you dreamer's heads. The Bills will end up with more Melvin Fowler/Robert Royals types--get used to it and accept it.
  10. Wasn't Toomer out of the line-up about the same time Plaxico shot his leg because I never did see him on the field since the accident?
  11. Ralph is smart but his cheapness dictates his actions. Anybody who values a team treasurer (Jeffrey Littman) over a GM (Bill Polian) who amassed one of the greatest collection of talented players tells you where he's coming from. There's only one of two great talent evaluators around, but there are millions of those new york city kind of you know what con-artist accountant types.
  12. According to "sources", he had a very bad injury. I doubt he will make OTAs/and perhaps miss at least some training camp. Remember McGahee. Even with a good rehab, these injuries can take up to two years. There's no doubt... he will not contribute in '09.
  13. We are a joke of an organization. I look forward to '09 for comedy relief especially when I watch doofus on the sideline refuse to throw a red flag when the other team's receiver whole foot is out of bounds.
  14. Jaworski is the best. He works the hardest and doesn't make ludicrous statements. Aikman is good, but no Jaws. Chris Carter was correct when we were 5-1 and he said that we were pretenders. Everybody bashed him for this as saying he was clueless, but I guess it was the eternal optimists on this board that truly were clueless.
  15. He was the only defensive player in '07 to have at least one sack, one interception, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and I might be missing something else, but you get the picture. Crowell has the knack for making big plays. I'm able to observe these things during a game, hey, but that's just me.
  16. Well, to be honest...Parcells said later in an interview that Reed was the focus of the gameplan...not TT. They felt if they could take Andre out of the game they could live with TT running wild. It looked like he was right...as usual! Don't blame Andre as much as the the 2-3-6 defense Parcells/Bellicheat installed. The fact is Kelly should have run the ball more rather than having his ego throwing into that defense.
  17. I agree with you. Maybe if Ralph was senile then he would spend all his money.
  18. This pick makes no sense only because Whitner cannot play FS. He has no nose for the ball--always two steps behind. What does he run--like a 5.2 40?* I prefer to resign Greer and move McGee to FS, keep slowpoke at SS where he can make tackles at the LOS. Draft Okafor or whatever that DE's name instead. *
  19. I wholeheartedly agree. The posters who lump him in with Kelsay are clueless--many clueless ignorant posters on this board. Before his injury of last year, Denney was very solid. He is a solid #3 DE....along with Josh Reed, one of Marv's better FA signings (or-resignings if u must).
  20. This is true. The only way we will get to improve our record with this schedule is to spend money on two top tier free agents who are playmakers. We are mediocre because we do not have one bonafide big play guy on this team. Lee Evans isn't it, Kawika Maitchell isn't, Marcus Stroud isn't, nobody. McKelvin might become one. The Kelly Bills were great because they were talent-laden with playmakers--Bruce, Biscuit, Jimbo, Thurman, Reed, and yes..Tasker!
  21. Richter played center in college where he was the top lineman in college football.
  22. The ONLY reason we went 9-7 in '04 was because we had the easy schedule against the what else? The NFC West! Even Mularkey wasn't bad enough to screw that up like Jauron did this year. We eventually proved NOT to be a playoff team when we lost to the Steelers Practice squad. Unfortunately, that was Phat Pat's last game...a monster of a game. I guess he was trying to prove he was worth the payout but our brilliant GM at the time didn't get the message.
  23. The only point your stats make is that the Bills should have been 10-6, but Dickie boy blew three games outright with his game time coaching decisions and terrible clock management. Basically, under a good coach, an improved Bills record of 13-3 would only net them about a 10-6 under jauron the Moron....still short of making the playoffs. The Bills have NO chance under this regime and I would submit to all fans, if you must, to listen to the games on radio next year...if you get my drift.
  24. The Bills are a farm team for the rest of the league. Any "A" free agent with the Bills is sure to leave because Ralph's too cheap, no A type FA will sign with the Bills because Ralph's too cheap, and any player who has had success with another team is doomed to underachieve (see Derrick Dockery) because Ralph is too cheap (to pay for competent coaches). BTW, Matt Birk moves people...would be a good pick-up, but alas Ralph is too cheap.
  25. QUOTE (cåblelady @ Jan 3 2009, 03:38 PM) I have his jersey. ......in my closet. I thought Losman was already in the closet.
