  1. I was reading the RIP post and it got me thinking about one of my shipmates that I served with back in 2000-2001, ET1 Robert Shader. He was a huge Bills fan like myself, and we both worked at Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base. I was there for 5 years and it was a blast watching all of the Bills games and actually having a Bills Backers to go to in Virginia Beach and two in fact after there was a split. After I left in 2004, it turns out that after he retired he ended up having a sudden heart attack while in his yard and died at the age of just 44. It still hurts me greatly to think that someone's life, like Pancho Billa, could be snuffed out so soon and all I can say is that live your life as fully as you can. Life is just way too short and never guaranteed. https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/name/robert-shader-obituary?pid=87515963&page=2

  2. Nothing's wrong as far as I can see We make it harder than it has to be And I can't tell you why No baby, I can't tell you why I can't tell you why Every time I try to walk away Something makes me turn around and stay And I can't tell you why No, no baby, I can't tell you why I can't tell you why I can't tell you why, no
  3. DING, DING! You got it!!! My answer was too much I guess LOL Quincy Jones is right!
  4. He is a musician but doesn't act. As a caveat, his world renowned music isn't as a result of him being great on any one instrument or because of him playing an instrument. No.
  5. No, not him this Day-O
  6. The photo was taken at the end of the 1930s, so Obama is kinda out LOL
  7. Who's Carrot Top?
  8. Nope!
  9. No, he was not an athlete in any part of his life.
  10. This will be very interesting!
  11. What genre was he famous for in his television roles?
  12. Iron Maiden The Go-Go’s Devo Todd Rundgren (look at his non-artist credits... he's done a lot for rock) That should be the actual list... Carole King is by far the best artist on that list along with Tina Turner, but she's not rock and roll.
  13. DAMMIT you beat me to it!!!! Right, has to be
  14. You nailed it... when I saw your guess and then the picture, I was like damn, he got it.
  15. Parents born in what is now Slovakia Born in the late 20's/early 30s in Austria Known in America more than anywhere else NOT: Sports Acting Politics Music Military Science So, is this a criminal we're talking about here?
  16. Yeah, a clear case of some overzealous cop harassing The Boss... of course The Post is all over this one...
  17. Was he a musician or military man?
  18. DING, DING!!!! Yes, this is "Spanky" McFarland from the Our Gang/Little Rascals comedies! The picture is from 1952 when he was in the Air Force.
  19. NO NO NO NO....... Robin Williams's death had ZERO to do with drugs. He had Lewy Body Dementia, which was gradually robbing him of his ability to function, and as a physical comic and one of the funniest people on the planet, he could not live like that. I wouldn't want that, that's for sure... and rather than be in that prison of the body, he decided he couldn't take it anymore. It's just when you have a family it's just 1,000,000 times worse and something I don't understand but that's what those kind of degenerative diseases do... https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/lewy-body-dementia/symptoms-causes/syc-20352025 Complications: Lewy body dementia is progressive. Signs and symptoms worsen, causing: Severe dementia Aggressive behavior Depression Increased risk of falling and injury Worsening of parkinsonian signs and symptoms, such as tremors Death, on average about eight years after symptoms start
  20. No and I already had him up LOL No, not Canadian... they were very American and not a troupe, more like a gang.
  21. No. You went the wrong direction in time going forward. Way too far in time! He was on syndication in the 70s and was a very different age.
  22. Nope! No. HINT #3: As Gen Xers, we'd see him perform on TV all the time in syndication with the other members of his comedy team. He looks much different at the time of the photo than he used to look while performing.
  23. Nope... you're in the right generation, but different eras of performance.
  24. No, good guess!! No, not him... how sweet it isn't! Nope... was older than Rickles! HINT #2: He was a part of a comedy team.
  25. He was definitely in comedy. Nope. Nope! Not a talk show/late night emcee or host. No, but good guess though! HINT: He was an icon of comedy and beloved for generations thanks to television.
