Week 15: Dolphins at Bills on Saturday Night Football
EasternOHBillsFan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
We SHOULD, but the elements have a way of evening out talent disparity... out best chance is that Tua is forced to throw like he was in L.A. -
Week 15: Dolphins at Bills on Saturday Night Football

24 hours to kickoff in what will be the second biggest game left in the regular season... My take: - Jeff Wilson, Jr. will be limited or a no go because a hip in the cold will be a problem - Waddle was the main target in the first matchup and will probably be again, so the #1 key to the game will be stopping him. - Conditions like tomorrow night will force Dorsey to call more running plays, and we are a far better running team than the pundits give us credit for because Dorsey doesn't stick to it. - The progress of Cook will be not as evident because Singletary seems to get better as the season goes on. Cook's lack of experience in these conditions will probably limit his touches unless we are blowing them out. - Josh must channel whatever he had going in the playoff game vs. the Cheatriots last season and unleash THAT Josh despite the lingering elbow issues. - We must stop the bleeding on injuries that have forced our team to scrap and claw for every single inch... can we get some good injury luck for a change???? -
I just cannot see Zach Wilson's cap number being an obstacle if he keeps losing... I was thinking of someone they could price out decently instead of like a Rodgers, who would hinder them and would probably not be worth it.

I wouldn't bet on it... Taylor Heinicke will be a FA and he's the kind of QB that the Jets could get for a value price AND McLaurin will talk to Garrett Wilson if the Commanders don't sign him back because Heinicke is not afraid to press the field and is pretty solid. There are options out there for them and if the team does not trust him at all, they would be insane to let his cap number get in the way... it's a rookie deal after all...

TIL: The United Steelworkers represent USFL players

My father got us out of the rust belt when I was little right before the bottom fell out in 1978... I remember how bad it smelled. Now China smells really bad LOL -
The problem is that he lacks the confidence of his teammates... he will press, make mistakes, press more and it will be an avalanche. I don't see how he ever starts another game after this one... Garrett Wilson is going to go nuclear if he performs as badly as we all expect. The Lions are no joke... They don't have a choice. Next season, they either have to go full press in free agency or choose one of the many project QBs in the draft.

The deal was not negotiated, it was manufactured 😁 -
Updated Beasley signing to practice squad

No I didn't... actually I saw what he said and it resonated with me. I've had a brutal past couple of years and he was right. If anything I feel like Uncle Billy these days... age has taken its toll. -

NFL Rules on Heaters For Sidelines?

Thanks for the clarification! I wish this wasn't an issue at all, but hey, Saturday night will be a most fun watch! -

NFL Rules on Heaters For Sidelines?

No A/C or fans for the Bills allowed on the sideline... is that not sinister? I say no heat for anyone on the sidelines... let the Fins freeze their meat and two vegs off. -

I would like to offer a sincere apology to what I said earlier this week. I should have never said that I want Beasley to fail, and I regret saying it. Beasley made a statement this week saying that he didn't handle his time well with the Bills outside of the team, and yes we all are not perfect human beings. I get it and totally respect that. Maybe this is an opportunity to come back from what really has been a crappy last couple of years and make things better. Thank you. GO BILLS -
At this point last season, Bills were 7-6

Our defensive line will probably be as healthy as it has been for a long time when we play them hopefully. Eli Apple is by far the weak link in their secondary... easily exploitable so that's probably why they aren't as impressive. -

My neighbor is a Bengals fan and we talk every week about fantasy and what's going on in the league. We are both not looking forward to the game as one of us will lose, but we both are ready to topple the Chiefs and remove them from the playoffs. We have never beaten them in the playoffs, and we need to exorcise that demon as well. -

Neither does the Bengals defense, but they are still good, hence the comparison. Hendrickson being not at 100% helps. That's why I said what I did... we have yet to face a hot Burrow at the end of the season and will go a long way in telling us what is what. -

Imagine the Patriots defense and the Chiefs offense... that's what we will be facing on MNF. I wish I could share in your optimism... -

To be fair, the Patriots and the Jets both have tough defenses and are divisional opponents... not exactly easy conditions for our offense to score a lot of points. -

We haven't played the Bengals with Joe Burrow yet... we have no idea how that will go, and if we do play them twice this season it could be problematic if our secondary continues to display concerning vulnerabilities. -
So did you make the playoffs in your fantasy league?
EasternOHBillsFan replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
HELL NO... worst draft I've ever had. My RBs were brutal outside of Jacobs, Stafford hit the skids, Burrow took too long to heat up, and INJURIES. Kyle Pitts was the most overhyped fantasy player of 2022. -

The best thing about the CFP is knowing that Xichigan will lose. I don't expect the Buckeyes to beat UGA, but I KNOW that UGA can beat Xichigan if TCU can't. -

Who had a worse game? Dane or Isaiah?

LMAO It was all in good fun, but if you insist: You meant CHAFING, which is not the intransitive verb you mentioned. Chafing is not chaffing.
