It's criminal, that's what it is.... another year of letting it go, another year of Josh taking all of these hits just to get us 10+ wins and an early trip home in January.

I'm looking at this from the outside looking in... teams in the conference are getting better and that doesn't bode well for the Bills. We have a limited window by which to have Josh Allen performing at a high level, and the history of players like him that take the punishment he does bears this out. I'm afraid by allowing for McDermott to have this year is another year of Josh's high level window being wasted and that's too high of a price I think. This is also a crucial year for Beane as well... the Patriots let their team degrade due to poor draft and FA decisions and then compounded it by not having a legit OC. Beane must find solid players to fix the holes in our team or we will be flirting with disaster. So far Josh Allen has masked his misses and we can't afford too many more, ESPECIALLY on the front lines.

What's the difference? He made CHANGES ON OFFENSE... when we had problems scoring, he brought in Daboll and cleaned house. So now that our defense is a major problem against top teams, I don't see those changes. That's complacency and it's not going to get us to where we want to be,

Without Josh Allen? Let's be real here... the Bills are winning those many games because of Josh. Put McDermott on the Titans or the Jets or the Giants and he's not even CLOSE to winning the same amount of games. Josh Allen is getting run into the ground and it is the poor PLAYOFF performance that is the issue here as well... and we are not seeing any improvement.

It wasn't a SAFETIES coverage failure... it was a DEFENSIVE COVERAGE fsilure overall, which falls at the feet of Frazier. That's TWICE our defense has caved in two big playoff games.

Those who got angry about Deshaun Watson getting that huge deal didn't get angry when they signed Kareem Hunt, so there you go...

AGREED!!! Josh must think he has the whole team on his back at this point, and presses and presses and presses. One of these days he will completely break down physically and then the chickens will come home to roost. How much can McBeane put on this man?!?! How damn much???

Jim Kelly had Thurman and a man named Ted Marchibroda... we don't have either as far as I'm concerned yet. With Ken Dorsey as the OC, Allen is going to get KILT and he will end up with a shortened career. That's the huge difference that you are missing here... we need an OC that will bring balance to this team and not drive Josh into the damn ground.

Your puzzle analogy hit the nail on the head... the dominance of the Patriots masked the insane number of teams that have won the Super Bowl since 2000- Ravens, Bucs, Colts, Saints, Seahawks, Chiefs, Rams, Eagles, Steelers, Giants and Packers. That's ELEVEN different champions! Anyways, the puzzles in that movie is what it is like... whoever solves the puzzles wins! #2. Coaching is definitely not easy at all, but to have the type of fatal defensive wounds in the playoffs we have had must come at a higher cost than just firing a safeties coach. The winning teams make adjustments and aren't afraid to make changes... and it seems like the Bills are not willing to do that.

Our O is not elite with Ken Dorsey as our OC... we are declining in performance as his plan of heavily relying on Josh Allen plan failed.

I disagree... we have an OC who doesn't game plan well for conditions against great teams.

Playing better competition when you are getting outcoached it is magnified, and Cinci was better competition.

NOTE: McDermott had my absolute full support before last season began. They aren't going to move on from either DC or OC, and that bodes ill for the future... we may be stuck with a team with lame duck coaches if they disappoint again. Teams below us are improving and NFC teams are making moves that we should be making. I predict that 2023 will be a lost season because of this blunder unless Beane REALLY hits this offseason with FA targets and the draft. It's our only hope for the future because it sure looks dark and cloudy with McDermott, Frazier and Dorsey.

I feel as if 2023 will be a wasted season and most everyone will see it coming... a transition year for our roster and the status quo is unacceptable. One safety coach getting the ax and that's IT? Laughable. Some of you may think that McDermott is safe, but you're wrong. The flak from the Mafia and national pundits will be overwhelming. McDermott gets fired at the end of the season, no doubt, a stone cold lock, DOOM, DOOM.

He's a part of the management team, so I'd say he does some.

What GALLS ME to no end is that we HAVE the talent to have a great running game, but our coaching severely limits its potential, and that includes Cook. Just because he is old doesn't make him wrong! This from someone who is probably as old as I am... that's what you call irony.
