  1. Pegula specifically tasked his GM with the head coaching search, and McD was hired in January. Something happened between then and the draft that caused Whaley to be fired. Call it kismet that we got an Andy Reid disciple who is great friends with Tomlin, but it happened. The Jets are going through with the same search and from the news that Glenn left without committing it's not a good sign at all, not to mention the GM interview as well. "[Pegula] and I informed Doug this morning that we will be moving in a new direction," Bills co-owner Terry Pegula said in a statement. "We have enjoyed working with Doug. He is a good person and we want to thank him for his work and commitment to our football team. This was my decision. It was not an easy decision but I believe it's the right one for the future of the Buffalo Bills. Our search for a new general manager will begin immediately." "The Bills also dismissed their entire scouting staff a day after the draft, with Terry Pegula announcing the decision during a news conference Sunday. "I don't want to discuss publicly why we made the decision, the factors," Pegula said. "Doug is a good guy. He's a smart man. But we made the decision. And the reasons remain private to us and Doug." https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/19278432/doug-whaley-fired-buffalo-bills-general-manager
  2. Whaley was fired AFTER McDermott was hired. The Jets have NO permanent GM in place. NOT the same.
  3. Has anyone mentioned that we fired Doug Whaley AFTER we hired McDermott? Sorry, you did it to yourself.
  4. This is the ONLY QUESTION at this point: HOW as an owner of an NFL franchise do you hire a head coach BEFORE you hire a General Manager? They will always be a sheeeet show so long as Woody owns them. INSANE!
  5. The first football game I ever got to watch was the Eagles "Fog Bowl" playoff game because it was on at my Scout leader's house... I ended up being hooked on football and what tipped the scales was the fact that my mother graduated from Lew-Port and went to Fredonia and I chose the Bills. I had no idea that from then on it would be a 35 year journey of the highest highs, the lowest lows and today, once again close to that high from 1990...
  6. I was in high school, watching it on a 13" Sharp tube TV in my bedroom... rabbit ears and all. No one in my family watched football except for me at that time because my father's twin brother, a high school football player, died before they were supposed to graduate together and he couldn't watch.
  7. They can take notes all they want to, but the vulnerability of the KC offensive line is a major problem that they can't overcome. They are 22nd in rushing offense and the same as us in passing offense. We have a much better offensive line than they do. This is the most vulnerable KC has been and the best the Bills have been overall. McD has done so much to adapt and overcome that I am impressed. This has to be OUR time.
  8. So I ask: WHO ELSE beats Pat Mahomes in the AFC playoffs under Andy Reid? Tom Brady (1) Joe Burrow (1) -END OF LIST- Get real. He beats EVERYONE ELSE.
  9. I fixed it seconds after you went into reply mode grrrrr
  10. Taylor Rapp is still injured, don't forget him
  11. Just popping in to say good luck... we're all counting on you. #BillsMafia
  12. The rivalries are by no means gone in the Big Ten, that's for sure. All of those rivalry trophies are still very much alive and well and new rivalries with USC and Oregon are really coming on now with the new playoff format offering a big boost.
  13. Just wait until you get there and it's no longer a joke! HA!
  14. Do they still have Jack in the Box there in Mawn-row?
  15. Right where you are... I am 3/4 of the way in between the two, closer to Akron, watching at home.
  16. In this case though Hollins can CATCH the ball with regularity. Dude is a baller
  17. Last night it said snow flurries possible with light and variable winds... now it is possible during the day and after midnight. Check it out: https://weather.com/weather/tenday/l/Orchard+Park+NY?canonicalCityId=ee333c09a3e84dfaac78cd3483c9fe1c55675d392bac701251e38852067a2b82
  18. I wouldn't be too sure if Flowers is limited... plus it will be frigid and snowy on Sunday night.
  19. Big difference... Vlasic played most of the game instead of DeBerg, which would be like Josh Johnson playing QB for them. I thought of that, but I couldn't make it fit in my mind unless Lamar went out early.
  20. Are you familiar with the quarterbacks we started from 2014-2017? 2014 Kyle Orton (12) / EJ Manuel (4) 2015 Tyrod Taylor (13) / EJ Manuel (2) / Matt Cassel (1) 2016 Tyrod Taylor (15) / EJ Manuel (1) 2017 Tyrod Taylor (14) / Nathan Peterman (2) In what universe would a receiver thrive having them as QBs??? He would have signed somewhere else for sure.
  21. Funny thing but DeNiro will always be a law abiding legend and Trump will always be a convicted felon and sexual assaulting POS.
  22. The PLAYERS ON THE TEAM WANT the players to earn their incentives... it wasn't just Von. The celebrations for incentives were obvious.
  23. It IS... Joe Burrow could have thrown us literally out of the playoffs, but now of course the rook Nix has to come to Orchard Park. That's CLEARLY a better scenario. If we can't beat the Broncos at home in the playoffs then we absolutely suck, so yeah, Burrow can go off to Belize and bring on the Broncos.
  24. According to Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, Jerod Mayo IS GETTING FIRED. https://www.nfl.com/news/patriots-fire-hc-jerod-mayo-following-4-13-first-season-in-new-england
