  1. Why is it unrealistic for Von to retire and then turn around and join the front office or staff? That is doable and that salary doesn't count against us.
  2. I guess what makes it different is that Oakland has no more sports teams... now that is something on a whole other level of bad
  3. SEE, WE DIFFER on this... I would rather have the Pirates move than subject our fan base to any more of this nonsense. The government there should nail his pelt to the wall and play hardball on any and all incentives when the old deal expires. Let the Pirates legacy stand alone instead of tarnishing it further...
  4. EVERYONE says that, and they are right that PNC Park is an awesome place for a game... but the product is so intentionally bad that even if nobody showed up to the games Nutting would still make tens of millions in profit. It is by far the worst "great stadium/terrible owner" ratio in all of sports. Now you see why I am beyond embarrassed at this point... even Bing Crosby was a better owner. Same exact way... I was too young in 1979 to understand they were World Series champions. My grandparents lived minutes from McKechnie Field in Bradenton so my childhood memories of baseball are simple and vague. The 1992 NLCS loss is just as painful as any of the playoff losses the Bills have had.
  5. MLB perpetuates this through the revenue sharing which was SUPPOSED to help small market teams but it is only acting as owner welfare. Now what I have to do is mail all of my Pirates gear to the club with a brief non vulgar letter as a final F U to Nutting.
  6. Most don't know because a) It's baseball and b) Those who follow baseball just see the record laugh at the Pirates.
  7. Posting this here... I am no longer a Pirates fan. The Pirates now have the worst owner in sports in Bob Nutting. Nutting has intentionally signed cheap talent or traded for it and has the second lowest payroll in all of MLB. Nutting designated a player who needed one more game for a bonus in Rowdy Tellez. Nutting is now lowballing Skenes and will probably trade him like he does everyone else. Nutting REFUSES to sell, intending to pass it down to his family. I am now choosing to be a Cubs fan... great history, great fans like the Bills, AND as a bonus they play the Pirates a ton every season. No longer a fan after almost 50 years. Dan Snyder has NOTHING on this POS. https://rumbunter.com/paul-skenes-brief-and-disappointing-update-on-pirates-contract-extension-says-it-all

  9. There are a couple with 3, but none with 4, until today! Steelers/Raiders, Cheatriots/Colts and Broncos/Browns are all tied at 3 for now second place.
  10. FOUR out of eight of these games are against the Kansas City Chiefs. We have won one, they have won two. FUN FACT: No other teams in the Super Bowl era have met more in the AFL/AFC Championship Game than the Bills and Chiefs, which I thought was cool! I have only missed 9 1/2 out of the 40 playoff games the Bills have played, 4 of which were played before I was born. That is 30.5/36 possible Bills playoff games in my lifetime that I have seen. I was on my way up to college with my Dad and missed the first half of the epic Oilers/Bills Comeback Game, and it wasn't on the damn radio. RIP Township Grille, Matthews, NC, the best damn Bills Backers bar there ever was in the 90s
  11. 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1995, 1996, 1998, 1999, 2017, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 What has happened during that time? A whole hell of a lot, to be honest. Been there for every playoff season and in between, and frankly the anxiety is always through the roof when it is win or go home. Memories that will haunt any Bills fan who lived through them... but if the CUBS can win a World Series, then by GUM, why can't the BILLS win a Super Bowl??? I've been hype ALL WEEK 😁 This is me in 1999, Jets vs. Bills.
  12. You have NO IDEA... imagine some country in Eastern Europe straight out of Borat. College football rules here and the Steelers if you're closer to the eastern border. Literally EVERY high school football team here uses the Ohio State fight song for their fight song... just no creativity. Depressing is what I call it... AND THERE ISN'T EVEN ONE WEGMANS!!!!!
  13. Micah Hyde doesn't need to play to earn his value to this team... he has done that many times over and has obviously been helping the other players just like Von was when he was unable to play.
  14. We shall see... never underestimate the greed of team owners, no matter how long the team has been in one city. It's gotten out of hand over the last 25 years...
  15. This is REALLY bad news for the league. What cities are possibly up for grabs if they do move, maybe San Antonio? I doubt they would be the first international NFL franchise, but then again I refused to believe that the Rams and Chargers would BOTH relocate...
  16. I forgot about that! Still curious though! I edited my previous response.
  17. See, I HAVE THE PROOF because it is available on YouTube and proves that you are lying. 1. Praises Joe Burrow, not Josh 2. Lamar didn't learn that you have to take care of the football in the playoffs which is why Josh and the Bills won 3. Josh has to be Superman to win no doubt 4. Beating the Chiefs in the regular season means JACK because it is different 5. Josh could "blow a fuse" if the Chiefs go up 2 scores and say watch Brady when that happens and he needs to buckle down There is no PRAISE there, no questioning his teammates (you made that up!) and here is the segment.
  18. If you watch The Facility like I do, then you will see how much more Shady McCoy respects Andy Reid... he mentions his name a lot as if he were a god while saying NOTHING about McDermott. He was coached by McD for 2 seasons and before McD was the assistant in Philly for his first 2 seasons and I understand he got a Super Bowl win with Reid after 5 years with him split between the Eagles and Chiefs. I wish someone would ask him about McDermott and see what he says... I know it was his first and second season coaching, but I am curious now.
  19. Odd hire indeed. What is the connection here? Hmmm...
  20. Bobby Slowik will replace Joe Brady as he moves on to the Saints. The Texans OL was TERRIBLE and Stroud didn't handle it well at all. He didn't suddenly forget how to coach... just gotta hope we can get him before Detroit if Brady leaves.
  21. WHAT I SEE: "Joe Brady is the next Head Coach of the New Orleans Saints" 🤢
  22. Cam Newton is on Get Up this morning, still refuses to say anything positive about Josh... the man REALLY IS a hater. He even made Jalen Hurts out to be the man and said nothing about Saquon.
  23. My points for this game: - Referees cannot call an excessive amount of offensive holding calls - Chiefs offensive line is the fatal weakness if our defense can exploit it, forcing the Chiefs into abandoning the HB runs - Bills secondary not beating themselves with mental mistakes - Play turnover free football like we did against most opponents this year I feel as if we win if we can win these bullet points.
  24. After what Lamar said to Josh and after the game, I am a fan now instead of a detractor. It was so genuine and uplifting... so many examples of it may make a difference yet.
  25. Sorry, but that is not true. "Owner Terry Pegula, who did not take questions from reporters Friday, told WGR 550 earlier in the day that McDermott asked about the Bills' organizational structure during the interview process and that Pegula's answer was "short and sweet" on the topic. "I told him the GM and the coach work together," Pegula said. "Obviously, Doug is sitting in the room with him while he's interviewing. So [McDermott] knows, if he's hired by this GM ... I like him. It's not like we're bringing a new GM in and hiring [McDermott] as a coach first. This GM, coach working together -- they both answer to the owners." McDermott later confirmed that he and Whaley will report directly to Pegula, which is the same structure the Bills used under former coach Rex Ryan and one that Pegula feels is "more common than it is unusual" in the NFL." https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/18468825/general-manager-doug-whaley-buffalo-bills-retain-control-53-man-roster
