  1. Johnson ALMOST made a big play. McKelvin ALMOST made a big play. Kelsay ALMOST made several big plays, but yet he didn't MAKE the big plays save one. That's why I was constantly yelling at the TV, especially when he had Roethlisberger clean and didn't fully wrap him up. Bruce Smith or Phil Hansen finished their tackles... ALMOST making plays isn't how you win.
  2. Thank God some of you weren't around when Jim Kelly played in 1986 and 1987, the original gunslinger, or else you would have said he was a choker as well. Luckily there are some who understand that football is a team game, and that just because someone is a starting quarterback doesn't mean every loss is their fault.
  3. Who's going to block for him? I'm tiring of this debate, because in the end our pass blocking will suffer, and to add we have no pass rush on defense... in essence, Luck would have to put up 30+ points a game while trying to adapt to an NFL defense. I say hell no- draft linemen until you can't any more.
  4. We were in Lindell's range and he missed it... we would have won. Rob Johnson led us to a game-winning drive at Tennessee, and yet we lost because of a special teams blunder. Put the blame where it belongs, which is NOT on Fitzpatrick! He did his job.
  5. OMFG.... the ball slipped out of his hands, dude... and by the way, Spiller's fumble caused our trouble with the dramatic change in momentum- Fitz's passes KEPT US IN THE GAME last week despite our defense.
  6. WTF? What game did you watch today? That interception was NOT Fitz's fault- the ball slipped out of his hand because the pass was intended for Evans cutting inside. He read the defense perfectly, found the space in the zone, and the ball squirted up. What can you do in that case? Ohh yeah, blame Fitzpatrick. Kansas City's defense has been great all year, and I thought he performed well despite not having a running game all afternoon-ohh yeah, did you notice that? Though NOT.
  7. I remember when I was much younger, going to the card store and being amazed at seeing the Jack Kemp rookie card with him in the Chargers uniform. I wish I had bought that card, but for someone my age $200 was a LOT of money! To share this:
  8. I said this a couple months ago that Kindig is my iron-clad best guess. I have his card in my collection too, got it a looooooong time ago, like 20 years ago. I can't wait to find out the answer to this Watergate-esque mystery!
  9. Historically, the Bills have had a very poor record at Minnesota, and the only win we have had there was when Bledsoe had his Hall-of-Fame passing day (I say that because the ball from that game is in the Hall). http://www.footballdb.com/teamvsteam.html?tm=4&opp=18 I'm not holding my breath- I think our first win will be this week at KC.
  10. Start winning WHEN??? It is most certainly not going to be this year, or are you delusional? OK buddy... good luck with that year-long plus wait. The negative comments are by far in the majority, and so you are wasting your time chiding us.
  11. This SEASON the Bills are playing is a constant negative.... get over it- this season sucks, and you can't sugar coat this pile of crap. The Sabres suck now too, and so I can be negative all the hell I want to because THE TEAMS MAKE IT THAT WAY and I hate it. If you want less negativity, go somewhere else. I'm still going to the game tomorrow, and so if I'm shelling out $250 I have a right to get mad.
  12. 1. Wisconsin isn't a powerhouse- where in the world did you get that idea? 2. Ohio State annihilated Indiana while no other Big Ten team could come close to doing that, i.e. Michigan and Robinson=overrrated. 3. Oregon, the anointed #3 team in the land, got embarrassed by Ohio State last year in the Rose Bowl. 4. The SEC is not as strong as it has been in the past. 5. Terrelle Pryor would not make a good fit in Buffalo, because athletic quarterbacks like Pryor as Lamonica was in the late 60s would be a waste. We are most successful when we have a pocket passer in Buffalo. 6. Ryan Mallett is clueless against top talent- did you see his poor decision making against Alabama? NO THANKS.
  13. Might be a smart move, considering we might get the give away our money to the corporations, invade our privacy regime of the Dixiecrat Tea Party right soon enough.
  14. Only in America does race ever come up... bringing it up in this case is at best to be argumentative and at the worst to place blame on others. Only in America... the country obsessed with race. I've been to 22 foreign countries and lived in 2- it is obsession, not healthy debate.
  15. Who was the owner 20 years ago? Come on now... irrelevant.
  16. There are a lot of places in DC I have never heard of either, so no big deal. Baltimore is full of diners and other great spots for good eats... I'm a big Greek foodie, and if anyone wants some outstanding Greek food, let me know.
  17. What in the hell is that supposed to mean? Wow.. just wow. seriously??? Get over this race BS. A dog is a dog, plain and simple.
  18. And I am getting SICK of all of the LOSING that is going on... don't you think that is just a BIT frustrating??!?!? Ohh, I guess not... all we are supposed to do is sit back and medicate. NO THANKS!
  19. Without Ralph Wilson, there never would have been ANY Buffalo Bills or any pro football in Buffalo, period. Don't ever forget that. Bill Polian was and is one of the greatest GMs in NFL history- how is it possible to replace someone like that? We won in 1999 and 2000 with Bill Polian's players as anchors for the team and one of the best defenses in the league to cover for our lack of offense. Now, we don't have that defense to cover our sad offense and we suffer. Just because Ralph Wilson can't manage as an owner doesn't mean he doesn't care, and he knows how badly it has gotten, but in the end he's in the fading twilight of life and soon it will be someone else's team. Patience is what we need in this dark time until the inevitable sale comes. Even though it SUCKS, it has to be that way- Ralph just can't make the right call, plain and simple.
  20. If you want to eat one of the BEST breakfasts you have ever had in your life, head on over to Miss Shirley's Cafe on Pratt Street: http://www.missshirleys.com/ It is on the expensive side, but it is so worth it- and don't let the "Cafe" name mislead you- it is first class!
  21. Peters=Posluszny, i.e. no good if they aren't on the field.
  22. PETERS - constantly injured bust in Philly. DOCKERY - benched in favor of a greener offensive lineman. We actually IMPROVED our offensive line by getting rid of those overpriced bums. Only losing INCOGNITO really made a difference. Talk about rocks...!
  23. Why don't you leave if they are that bad, and you are sick of hearing former Bills players talk? I'm sure another team like the Eagles or the Jets could use your cynical attitude... we'd be better off not having you as a Bills fan anyways if you can't appreciate what DT was trying to say- very rude.
  24. Nobody has the stones to draft offensive linemen in bulk; they would rather go for flash and speed, obviously. The days of drafting a Fina or a Ruben Brown have passed the Bills by.
  25. Yeah, all of that glorious history and names like Wagner, the Waners, Traynor, Clemente, Stargell, and now we're stuck with crap. Matt Morris was a Dave Littlefield knife and twist signing that was his last putrid hurrah. Ralph does care about winning, but his decision making is terrible, and to our detriment. Ever since he chose the finance guy over Polian, we have been sliding down and down. Owens at least was an attempt which could have worked out had we supported him, but the Pirates don't sign quality guys, only bargain basement guys like Iwamura. We're born to be argumentative when it comes to losing teams- we're angry, hungry, and tired of B.S. I don't fault you AT ALL Buck Showalter was a great move... and your club has a lot of talent that was thrown away the first months of the season- I live 20 mins from Camden Yards, and trust me, I know what you have in Baltimore and it isn't the chump change we have!! LOL You have hope... we don't even have a small crumb of hope!
