  1. I was out there tailgating with him and Andre Reed in 1999... I guess PA guys stick together!
  2. Frank Sinatra, George Burns, Jimmy Stewart, James Cagney, Sammy Davis Jr., Lucille Ball, and on and on... good people die, and then you wonder what happened to the world. 56 is just way too young to me... it makes me sad.
  3. Death by brain trauma runs in my family... I could not live like Dick Clark does after a stroke.. I would be unable to cope.
  4. OK then genius, why in the heck are we waiting to get the deals done, right in the middle of the season? They could have easily done it LONG before this since we were $20 million under the salary cap. I am SO SELLING this idea we're saving it ALL to resign key players. SELL!
  5. He's 28 years old... that's ancient in NFL rookie years. He can't be that good if he's not caught on by now and the Bears cut him... and he's no Doug Flutie either.. just in case someone tried to bring that up
  6. Why does it feel like I'm having a conversation with Charlie Sheen just after a party?
  7. OHHH SHIIITE last night I encountered the worst Madden bug in its history... So, I am playing with my MUT, and supposedly Aaron Maybin (LOL) intercepted a pass and ran it back 30 yards... Trouble is, he was FREAKIN INVISIBLE and it just showed the football floating in the air. Turns out, invisible players are rampant in the game. WOW, EA, just WOW. In gaming terms, it is pathetic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KrdrlRPhg0Y&feature=related
  8. I'm more worried about that than any Mexican federales... part of why we're losing our edge...
  9. How much do the boarders pay a week in rent? Where do American boarders stay these days, Elvira Baker's Boardinghouse and Saloon? This happened in the 'United State' according to the article...
  10. They were elected by pockets of this country that are radical in thought, and only represent their district. That doesn't mean in the least they know what is best for this country or represent what a majority of Americans want. Republicans desperate for change originally welcomed them, but now after the budget crisis they are willing to go against their principles to save America from a far worse economic disaster, because they know that Americans in a recession will accept deep budget cuts about as much as they would accept flag burning. Why else do you think the budget deal passed despite Tea Party opposition? You can't blame that on the 'liberals' and the 'Democrats', for now the makeup of Congress has changed, and those GOP members that bucked the Tea Party to save us from default or worse used common sense. Breaking government to save it didn't work for the Weimar Republic, and it won't work here.
  11. You mean that all of the prominent Tea Party members don't say a tremendous amount of foolish things already? They do much more... they try and block what REPUBLICANS also want to do by tying their hands. This isn't effective government...
  12. I lost a shade over 3% today... Caterpillar was the worst.
  13. I was playing with my Madden team and they kept pronouncing Graham Gano's name as "GAN-oh" instead of "Ga-KNOW"- it irritated the heck out of me. Why is it so hard to get simple names right???
  14. Wow, I didn't realize that... I've been deployed so much over the last 2 years that I didn't know. From what I've read, Sundays might be the only busy night of the week. I've been watching Bar Rescue a lot, and hopefully it works out. I just wish I could take a place like that and do what John Taffer does.
  15. I already knew that... I just wish more of that honesty resided here, but I expect too much.
  16. It's not the left only, it is Congress in its inability to work together to has out a deal because of the fire-breathing Tea Party hacks trying to wage a holy war at all costs, hijacking the country for an agenda. Last time I checked, it took more than just liberal Democrats to make deals. Our system is broken BECAUSE of extremists trying to garrotte each other on both sides.

  18. Neither, trade for Tebow.
  19. Hey, I am all for them allowing us to default on our debts... that would have been HILARIOUS. But somehow the GOP knew better, and stepped away from the cliff. Let FY12 begin with Continuing Resolutionapalooza! NOW we will be able to revel in more Tea Party comedies.
  20. So that will cost far in excess of what Lance Briggs would cost us? We could do both and not bat an eye. But of course, Ralph is not cheap...
  21. Who are we going to get to play LT before the end of the season? I'd rather draft a first round LT and improve our defense, what could very will win us more games.
  22. Nor the auto industry, provided that we are there to bail them out.
  23. Who CARES??? My God, we could have a 1999 Bills defense again with an actual GOOD quarterback to complement it. Why NOT?
