  1. He's not below average if you really watched him play in college and in the regular season so far. He, like Cam Newton, looks very comfortable so far. If our defense gave up 500 yards and we won by 3, or 7, or 10, I'd be thrilled because we WON THE GAME. You probably don't remember 'bend but don't break'
  2. I don't know because I am not you, and you are not me. I would never wear pink, as most men would never wear pink, hence why the NFL and clothiers don't make much mens clothing in pink. I would notice light purple towels mixed with NFL gear even with the Vikings or the Ravens... radioactive pink hurts my eyes. YOU make that assumption.... read my response to Beerball. You are really pushing this 'hidden agenda' with pink hard, and to me it is lunacy.
  3. What PREJUDICES and BIASES??? Pink is a WOMANS color, and that's why it is used for WOMENS apparel! You are the one coming up with this inane prejudices and biases argument...
  4. Maybe next year everyone should wear lime green apparel to REALLY make everything look hideous. There is raising awareness, and then there is going to an extreme with the visuals. Purple is much easier on the eyes than bright radioactive pink.
  5. Why then do they make pink NFL gear for WOMEN and not for all fans? Hmmmm, let me think about it.... maybe it is the fact that pink is a color that WOMEN WEAR???? I don't need a wayback machine for that thought process.
  6. What about lupus? Muscular Distrophy? Autism? You can say that about any form of disease, really... I'm more angry at the fact that decades after discovering more and more about cancer, we seem to be handcuffed by it even today despite the billions of dollars being spent on finding a cure...
  7. There has been a J.D. Williams reference made here! Takes me back...
  8. READING COMPREHENSION The call was a bad call, and contributed greatly to our loss- not the ONLY factor, but it stopped our drive and changed the momentum of the game. Not my fault you can't comprehend.
  9. Scorched our defense to the tune of 23 points... MAN, that was horrible!!! Come on now... you act as if he dropped TD bombs on us like Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers... hyperbole.
  10. That is NOT the point and you know it- you made the statement that the bad call did not affect the outcome when it did. This is not a question of how good the Bills are, but an indictment of the crew that did that game. When the game is decided on a bad call such as that, it taints the result. To deny it didn't affect the game is just insane.
  11. Video evidence proved that the call was bad... sorry, your comments are invalid in this case.
  12. You make too much sense... it is much easier to let people post their 'ALARMING STATISTICS' in a vacuum and tell us all the sky is falling for our defense...
  13. When a referee who was farther away from the play than the referee who was there overturns the call on the field, and then the call is upheld despite video evidence to the contrary, shielding of his vision is moot.
  14. He came up from 10 yards downfield to overrule the man in front of the play... and then reviews the play and holds up his own ruling. SHOCKER!
  15. We're not in the bottom 5 in defense- where do you get that from? Our defense is so bad we only gave up 23 points when they CLEARLY had a benefit when it came to field position the entire game, and our defense is approximately on par with other good teams like the Patriots, Packers, and Saints? I don't care how many yards we give up so long as we hold our opposition down in POINTS, which what really matters.
  16. You are confusing borderline calls and routine calls that would go against the Bills with calls that are blatantly wrong. That was my point in bringing up the game from 1998...
  17. The refs are bad because the VIDEO EVIDENCE substantiated that it was a catch, but was ruled as 'play stands as called', which was a blown call. This isn't a gray area play or a 'maybe' play, it was black and white, clear as crystal. The denial of it is bizarre and disturbing.
  18. Yes they can, genius.... momentum stopped and we lost our opportunity to get insurance points. Put your crayons back in their box and move along.
  19. This game of course was lost because of our defense not stopping the Patriots and our offense not scoring enough points: http://www.footballdb.com/boxscore/1998112907 Going out to buy some stock in Terra Nitrogen... more belief in fertilizer these days.
  20. It's not an alarming stat if you compare it with what it happening in the league today, and of course we're not playing in a vacuum.
  21. This conclusion is incorrect- we would have had a first down at the Bills 49, and 16 yards later would have been in field goal range (the previous drive we marched down 75 yards for a FG). That is 16 yards we were denied in obtaining due to a bad call, and it denied us being in a position to at LEAST go into overtime. I do not understand this denial over this call.. how could it NOT affect the outcome of the game? It wasn't a NORMAL play, but a BLOWN CALL.
  22. No Trent Cole and Jason Peters for the Bills game? I'm surprised that Andy Reid hasn't been hung in effigy yet.
  23. I will concede that, but to call Fitz only a backup QB is to ignore what he has done with the talent level we have in Buffalo right now. He is a bona fide starter- it amazes me how Bills fans have forgotten how bad our QBs have been, and when we get one that shines he's somehow not a legit starter.
  24. No, it wasn't. You assume too much and you are wrong, again... not surprised.
  25. I can agree on that for sure, but the idea that the refs DIDN'T cost us a chance to win and it was only our D is ludicrous.
