  1. I think after talking to him he realized that you weren't a bandwagon fan... 15 years of hell and coming out the other end to this season so far is survival of the fan. It's cool.
  2. I am looking to get tickets now that I have a 3 day weekend...!!!!! I NEED tickets... best available for Rock Pile and below are $170 apiece.
  3. At least they have the Pistons' championship to enjoy... I haven't enjoyed any of that- in 1979 I was a small kid with the Bucs won it all, and since then it is a big doughnut. As cities go, if you're a Buffalo fan, only Cleveland and Seattle make it all better.
  4. In 1996 I was 23, and and so I grew up with a mixed bag of failure and success, but if you are still here after the past 15 years going strong, regardless of what happened from 1990-1994, then you most certainly aren't a bandwagon fan.
  5. "He showed little drive and motivation in practices and was outperformed by players taken much lower than him in the draft." http://www.profootballweekly.com/2011/08/15/bills-release-2009-first-rounder-maybin "‘I think he wants to [work hard enough]. I think he wants to,’ Gailey said [of Maybin], leaving pauses between each sentence. ‘He works at it. I’m glad you [asked that]. I don’t want anybody to think he doesn’t work at it.’” Only a few paragraphs later, however, Gailey tacked on: “I don’t think I’ve lit very many fires [under Maybin]. We might provide a spark, but he’s got to get his own fire going.”" http://home.buffalo.com/sports/blog/the-frustration-that-is-aaron-maybin/ The guy just didn't get it, and he didn't survive competition against undrafted free agents.... it is obvious to me that the motivation just wasn't there, and you can't be a mostly off, a little on kind of player in the NFL.
  6. Sure, because 1996-2011 we've had SO much to cheer about... 15 years of futility, empty promise, and utter frustration
  7. This guy had some of the worst work ethic and attitude (lack of motivation) I have ever seen a supposed NFL player have. You must first have to give people SOMETHING to believe in, and he couldn't muster anything... a pathetic display that deserves ridicule.
  8. Assumptions based upon what? Williams said that he WAS making an analogy that compared Obama to Hitler, and therefore wiping aside your claim that maybe it was Boehner he was talking about with regards to Hitler. HE is the one that clarified his statement, and yet you are acting as if just the interview is the only piece of evidence that is being referenced here, which is not true. References to this liberal crap are just vain attempts at being an apologist for anyone who tries and fails at striking at Obama, as if he is the only member of the federal government. Cry me a river if the offensive comments of comparing the President to Hitler is slapped down with a "You're Fired!" or results in an "I'm taking my marbles and going home, I Quit!" I'm not voting for Obama, but if he wins in 2012 I'm going to laugh my butt off because the intense overreaction towards one man has gotten to the point of lunacy.
  9. It all depends on what is more important on your hierarchy of needs... film stars isn't high up there, and so the answer is obvious...
  10. 56 years old. 56. THAT hit me like a ton of bricks. LIVE LIFE!!!
  11. NO! Tom Brady and Drew Brees weren't #1 overall... not worth it IMO.
  12. The apology I guess was a sham! Why apologize if you feel you said nothing wrong and ESPN was wrong? Hmmmm.... It was HIS decision to part ways, not ESPN... Screw reading comprehension!
  13. I can see the twitter update now... "Price on Carl Nicks right OMG deal iminent! Yea baby"
  14. You make too much sense... we both will see how the new guys perform on Sunday!
  15. Stolen from? I'm not the one dodging taxes and labor standards and then trying to cry foul over knockoffs for the sake of a buck. I'm just taking advantage of the benefits everyone seems to enjoy. I don't need to quote others in order to burst your balloon and insult you... and you are only embarrassing yourself. No, they are not. Their base of operations are overseas, and the only scrutiny they face is in the media to try and force them to make changes to their manufacturing processes by shaming them. I will continue to save money like those big corporations do.
  16. I'm living in the here and now, where these products are made overseas with the low standards of manufacture I stated, where there is no difference. Live by the rules of supply and demand, die by the rules of supply and demand.
  17. Rob Johnson WON us that game, and it would have been one more playoff win than Flutie, but our special teams lost the game for us, and so how could anyone be bitter over that? Man, that's just crazy...
  18. So why in the heck didn't you just say that to start off with? Now your response makes perfect sense!
  19. There is little difference between the 'real thing' manufacturers using cheap labor and taking advantage of poor environmental standards and knockoff manufacturers using cheap labor and taking advantage of poor environmental standards. To state that there is is perpetuating a falsehood, otherwise more garments would be made in the USA... so why aren't they? Hmmmm...
  20. We like the news of a possible new owner, however maybe some of us don't want this to happen...
  21. You can't leave our corners by themselves out there... pure madness. Blitzing would expose them and our defense to touchdown-making plays. Think CONTAINMENT.
  22. That was slick the way you lubricated that joke with italics! I don't mean to cause any friction with my post, but TBD can get combustible sometimes!
  23. You beat me to the punch sir!!! I like your style
