  1. After FOUR straight Super Bowl losses and a Stanley Cup Finals loss, I have no superstitions. The only one left is to NOT WATCH the championship game.
  2. When the turnovers dried up, and our defense was laid bare, the yardage monster bit us again on defense. I don't get this team- we enjoy a +5 turnover ratio, and win by 7, and suffer a -3 turnover ratio and lose by 3.
  3. Exactly, and both those who find no fault with our team so long as we win and those who think we will never succeed should now finally, hopefully, see that neither position is accurate. Dareus did miracles for us vs. the run with Kyle Williams, and now with a prime time pass rusher and a solid cornerback, we're a playoff team. That is how close we are at this point, considering how great our offensive line has been and continues to surprise everyone.
  4. AGREE. What happens if we get 3 points from that drive, and the Giants go down and score a touchdown, because they had plenty of time left...? Our defense must and will get better. I'm glad now that finally people are sobering up and we can get to the meat of the season and get down to the business of improvement and getting to be a great team.
  5. We're not expecting a Super Bowl, but the toughest part of our schedule has now passed, we're 4-2 (and we won't go 0-10 the rest of the way), and we have building blocks for the future. Sure we'll probably lose out on the playoffs to a team like the Steelers or Raiders, but at least time is not on the side of our divisional opponents as far as age of players and we have done very well. If we do manage to eke out a playoff spot, it is gravy to be honest. This defense has a long way to go to shore up its deficiencies, but look how far we've come. GO BILLS
  6. Where are you now, today? For your edification, Flutie won a grand total of ZERO playoff games, and why is that? The same problems that won him fame (digging a hole that led to being down in the 4th quarter) doesn't get you a win. Sloppy play doesn't get you a win. Turning the ball over doesn't get you a win. Statistics are for stories and for Hall of Fame ballots, and Flutie was deficient in stats and the ability to win when it REALLY counts.
  7. Any Boardwalk Empire fans here? So far it has been AWESOME!
  8. Actually, it should be the following: Holy crap, can we not stop correcting grammar? There should be no 'the' in that sentence after grammar.
  9. I just want to survive the 'Gints' fans... I plan on eating at a great diner in Hackensack for breakfast before heading to MetLife.
  10. Dick Jauron's part is just terrible... ugh.
  11. THIS makes me as giddy as a schoolgirl.. ha ha ha GO BILLS!!!!!
  12. Google is now at $591 a share, Cisco is now over $17 a share, and MELA Science is up to $6.60 a share (double what I paid for it). I am now up over $1,000 to date... that Google stock is a beast.
  13. Wait a second... I thought it was OJ who had the half Bills, half 49ers jacket and not Chris Berman?
  14. Reasonable! I find the whole thing utterly hilarious... I'm so glad we have no such distractions on our team. I hope it lasts!
  15. Sunday fast approaches... and your bold statements shall soon be either proved or disproved. Good luck with that...
  16. Some of the comments regarding threats were of course way out of line and those ones I disapproved of, but some of us just don't take crap from anyone. I'm glad to see Chris Cooley standing up for what he said and responding in kind to Cowboys fans who were upset in the way that he did.
  17. The use of 'sadly' was the reason for my response, as I could obviously tell you disapproved of our approach, and yet you praise Cooley for the same approach, i.e. the low road approach. Hypocrisy, I say again.
  18. "I’m aware at this point, that I could choose the high road, but a little pettiness makes for much more fun." "For those of you opposed to profanity, I suggest stopping here" "Google me B word. Also, Fred Davis owns many nice things, but I am not one of them." You like this guys attitude, and yet he responded with the same vitriol and language that you flay us Albany responders with? Hypocrisy!!!!!!
  19. I completely understand your point- see my Bills/Giants game analysis here: http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/136933-billsg-men-prediction-page/page__view__findpost__p__2281637
  20. C.J. Spiller is the much better play based upon their production to date, as well as how they have looked. Smith just looks like a disjointed gimmick player right now, and he's trying to fit in. Spiller is improving before our eyes and looks to be a LOT more comfortable.
  21. No prediction on the score with X-X, but here is how I see it: The Giants defense versus the Bills offense is the matchup of the game. Can the Bills keep the Giants from crowding the box to stop the run/short passes by opening their defense with deeper pass plays? Can the Giants defense pick up on the Bills' screens and defend them well? Can the Giants exploit their pass rushing edge to force Fitzpatrick into bad throws during passing plays? Will the Bills be able to survive with a majority of run plays called and produce sustained drives that produce touchdowns instead of ones that gain us just 3 or no points that end up in punts, or worse, turnovers? We can run the ball and the Giants can't stop the run well, but what happens when the Giants overcommit short and they dare us to throw longer passes? I say that we will have problems containing the Giants' pass rush (18 sacks) and exploiting their overcommital to stopping the run, resulting in uncharacteristic turnovers. This will result in a low scoring game that will hinge on special teams. Look to see a final score of 40 total points or less- it will be an ugly game that the Bills, if truly aware of what happened against Cincinnati, should win.
  22. NEITHER one. You really should be looking for other options.. who is available in your league besides them? You don't have to get Bills you know
  23. It is awesome to see more curves and less bones... giggety giggety goo!
  24. This is not a Ralph Wilson decision, it is a managerial decision... There is no way I believe for a second that Ralph Wilson would do this to these people... and it says a lot about the way they choose to do business these days if this story is true.
  25. How are the Girondins doing?
