  1. I'm going with 20-17 Dolphins because although Losman is starting, the Bills are really devastated due to injuries and the defense has been so bad almost all year that anyone makes us look foolish. I don't trust them to finish a game, and it is too bad our offense is ice cold. Between the Bills and Sabres, I'm pissed off and depressed... Grantland had it right.
  2. Flutie turned the ball over a lot more than Tebow... at least TT has that going for him. I'm a big fan.
  3. When was the last time an African American quarterback was drafted by the Bills? THAT is a question that needs to be asked... the history is bleak. Did Ralph Wilson say NO after starting the first AAQB early on (James Harris)?
  4. DRE KIRKPATRICK, CB, ALABAMA. I am sick to DEATH of seeing McKelvin and Florence get burned like J.D. Williams... enough is ENOUGH! Whoever chose Montee Ball should turn in their Bills fan card.
  5. NO!!!! HELL NO. This guy alienated our Super Bowl/Hall of Fame veterans, never won a playoff game in his entire career, and played worse than Rob Johnson when he did play in the playoffs. If there is a symbol for losing we don't need at RWS, it's him... he never won ANYTHING.
  6. GREEN BAY PACKERS. Only the Packers can erase the accursed 1972 Dolphins bulls**t we have to hear about every year. Now THAT is what a Bills fan is supposed to do!!! Screw Mercury Morris, et al!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Either you make the playoffs, or you draft high and try to build for a playoff team... the tweener draft picks do us no good, and with all of the injuries, it is all but assured. I know it sucks seeing Losman getting a win over the Bills, but in the end it would be a good thing IMO.* * so long as we don't get a McKelvin or Spiller with the pick
  8. As long as Ralph Wilson owns the Bills, that would never happen unfortunately...
  9. That's not true, and I must protest this comment. There are some of us who are here that knew where we were at especially with our defense, are at due to injuries, and will be at unless we get an infusion of talent, straight out facts. In order for there to be hope the front office must GIVE us hope- not false hope, but bonafide hope that will tell us we will compete for a playoff berth. A lot of us are sick to DEATH of false hope, and yearn for a sign of sustained positive change. The only thing the Buffalo Bills have sustained is a reputation for vying for a top 15 draft pick, and someday it will be reversed. Until then, dark clouds hang over the Bills and that's not being jaded.
  10. I got a LOT of crap in this thread as well and in other ones, but injuries made a mediocre season into a nightmare season real quick. I so wanted to be wrong and get to 10-6, but our defense really sucks, and if Edwards (Georgie Porgie) keeps his job, then I'll be EXTREMELY angry. Andy Reid will get fired for not having a defensive coordinator, and Chan Gailey, for all he possesses in intelligence, HAS to realize Edwards must be fired.
  11. Then you should be the first to eat your words after you personally attacked me for saying the Bills defensive yardage fest early would cost us dearly. And yet, oddly enough, suddenly you are on the side of those who saw through the 4-1 record??? I have a big huge flag waving for you with two letters on them, B and S. At least PTR is man enough to stand behind his words and not flip flop to suit an argument. Poor form... poor form.
  12. I'm SO HAPPY the NBA lockout continues... great stuff. It gives the NHL more exposure
  13. We had McGee, Greer, and Leonhard on this team for God's sake. Letting two of them go seems like utter stupidity now for what we got in McKelvin and Florence! We're much better than our talent on defense comparatively speaking. We have a base we can build from...
  14. It is easy to be positive when you don't have to endure Wide Right, the Hogs, Jimmy Johnson, Thurman's lost helmet, The White Ford Bronco, Bruce Smith's flu, the Music City Miracle, Rob Johnson, Doug Flutie, Tom Donahoe, X Bills coach, No Goal, Philly's net non-goal goal, Delay of Game vs. Carolina, etc., etc, etc, etc... UNTIL THEN, after all of that, let's see how positive a person can be. It eats at your soul, it really does. OHH, and of course, I have had the 1992 NCLS and umpteen straight losing seasons in baseball, and Jordan, Jordan, Jordan, Jordan beating the Knicks in the NBA.
  15. We have to first beat the Jests in order to pass them up, and if we lose another 'supposed to win' game, we're out of it. I'm much more concerned about beating MIAMI than getting a playoff spot, as are the players. We cannot be respectable losing to Miami in any case.
  16. Believing in the team as in watching the games, of course. Does this mean that after number 7 you will no longer believe? This team is not a playoff team at the moment according to their play. Injuries and a lack of good talent in some positions will continue to hurt us, but I'm still watching every single game no matter if they end up 10-6 or 7-9, and to me that's all the believe one fan should be concerned with. It is a process to improve, and we're a heck of a lot closer to it with Gailey than Jauron.
  17. The Cardinals one is really outstanding. It reminded me of Saturday morning cartoons.
  18. There is no way we make the playoffs at 10-6 with this scenario... the Jets would own the tiebreaker along with Cincinnati, Baltimore (AFC), and Pittsburgh (AFC). We'd be screwed...
  19. Offhand, I can think of many institutions that can beat them, i.e. Duke, Stanford, MIT, Northwestern, etc. I have the luxury of skipping a school that revels in stirring controversy.
  20. That is a matter of debate... if you can call it an education... I wouldn't have my son go there if they paid me.
  21. Unfortunately I was spot on with the observation that when the turnovers dried up, we'd be exposed. The game against the Chargers should be another one of those nightmare games because of the talent they have, regardless of current record. I could not have predicted the injuries we have sustained, which makes it worse. It is very difficult to be realistic here for many, but hopefully now we can beat the Dolphins, Titans and Broncos to at least get us to 9-7. Any other victory is a huge plus in my book (Chargers, Jets, Patriots).
  22. THIS. A voice of reason in the wilderness.
  23. If our defense doesn't stop the opposition, how in the heck do we keep up with the pace? We will end up running the ball 25+ times and lose by 10+ instead of losing by 21+ against good defenses. They will stack the LOS and force us to go deep, something we have been unable to do. Face it, our defense has to be upgraded and our offense has to have better talent at the WR position. We didn't need Casserly to tell us this, because in order to be a playoff team and win a championship you have to beat the good teams more than just one time.
  24. Brady can't win if his defense gives up the ridiculous amount of scores they did before, so what makes you think Fitz will? It's the DEFENSE.
  25. Does it really matter at this point? When you allow Tony Romo to set a Cowboys record for passing percentage, that pretty much says it all. Come on now, enough. We are building for better days, but we put the shutters on and planted a garden too soon.
