Michael Vick was the most hated man in the NFL, went to prison for murdering dogs, and has been back for years... if there is a strong owner to be found, no USFL case from 30 years ago will stop it... in the business world, many things are forgotten for profit and stability.

Actually, there are only 2 owners who owned their team during that period- Bill Bidwell, and the McCaskey family, so that's not an issue I think.

My boss had the same kind of cancer, and the problem with it being in the jaw and head area is that it greatly affects many functions... unlike the other kinds mentioned here. It ravaged his immune system, and it was very tough... I still cannot believe it is happening to someone I know AGAIN..... My grandfather died of brain cancer, so make that THREE.... but he lived in the dark ages when it got him, i.e. 1983.

I'm thrilled the Bills decided to go this route... it only makes sense to improve the overall quality of our team, which will result in more wins vice putting all that money into a safety. I'm not so thrilled with the Bills ignoring the QB situation so far- my assumption is that they will fix it in the draft, because I'm not sold on Manuel's ability to stay healthy.

I vote NEITHER by not voting... drafting a WR not named Watkins is silly with a #9 and goes against their plans if you look at last year, and we already have 5 TEs on the roster, so that should tell you we're not drafting Ebron. Judging by our recent signings, I would have to go with Taylor Lewan, OT, or a trading scenario to either get Watkins or to trade down and to get more picks.

I'm with you... the Graham and Carpenter contracts are MASSIVELY undereported... two moves that are going to provide an excellent way ahead. Now we can see what the draft brings us and possibly land Vick as insurance. I'm good.

Next season, if Manuel fails to impress or is injured again, we're going to get someone if we don't work something to follow up on this "push him" article I read.Tagging Byrd would have been a distraction we didn't need... if it means holding off a year to not throw money at guys just to do so, I'm good with it.

YES, a $9 million safety's not going to get us another 2+ wins... he's not Ed Reed. We need offensive help and a linebacker at least ASAP.

All Pro based on past reputation, not PRESENT play... sounds so familiar. Fred Jackson has heart and has given everything to be the best RB even after we got CJ. Byrd was a selfish, overrated jerk who sat and pouted with some "foot injury" like a B@#!@, and now he's someone else's problem. DELUSIONAL.
