The trade wasn't the issue, it was drafting EJ in the first place... it set this all into motion. Once it was decided to NOT have a veteran QB to backup EJ, we were screwed.

What the Buffalo Sabres are is our future, unfortunately. We're going to end up p***ing away our talent and wasting a roster spot at QB unless the Bills hire the right people.

If it meant having EJ forced down your throat for a year, it makes it MUCH less appealing. I would hope the management gets a REAL QB and quits messing around with a failed pick.

Be ready to suck then, regardless... if EJ is the starting QB in 2015, we are screwed. He doesn't have the propensity to learn from his mistakes or to correct his inaccurate throws. That's why Marrone gave up on him and didn't start him in New England... HE KNOWS EJ will not get much better... and that kind of honesty is what we need, not false hope in a bum.

The focus on just regular season wins proving NOTHING, to be honest, since you can't reach the ultimate goal of a championship without WINNING playoff games. Frankly, he wasn't good enough for that, and that's why he NEVER got the opportunity to play for other teams as a starter. The role of the non-franchise starting QB on a team with a great defense is to take care of the football, and he failed.

One statistic does NOT make even a good QB... for you to point out his completion percentage based mostly on dumpoff passes, and then on TOP of it claiming it is the others fault for screwing up a play or two for his failure to produce well is garbage.
