Sorry, but I'm still going to miss Hogan
EasternOHBillsFan replied to dollars 2 donuts's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So, what's your convenient explanation that Hogan has exploited an excellent Arizona defense on the road with a backup QB? Lemme guess... a *. -
Kaepernick and the National Anthem
EasternOHBillsFan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
So why don't the many speak out against the actions of the few? That doesn't require POWER either. -
Kaepernick and the National Anthem
EasternOHBillsFan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
So, they make it much worse... so that's a solution? LMAO So essentially what makes them NOT have power if they don't burn or loot? They obviously don't want to fix it because it is not their primary focus to be sure. -
Kaepernick and the National Anthem
EasternOHBillsFan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
No, just upset about ignorant fools who would rather burn and loot than fix what's wrong in their own damn communities. It's 2016, not the 1770s. -
Topic of the day for Sunday 6/12--EJ Manuel
EasternOHBillsFan replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ranking EJ Manuel when he should have been released a long time ago is pointless! The longer he stays on this team the more of a reminder the wasted pick remains. Can we PLEASE take out the garbage already? -

RD 4, Pick 139: QB Cardale Jones, Ohio State
EasternOHBillsFan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Of course... but when I read it, that's immediately who I thought of. By the time he grows up and figures out the real world, it may be too late. -
That's what happens when you allow the religious far right to dominate the conversation when it comes to Christianity... no wonder those who associate with faith are dwindling in numbers. Instead of focusing on compassion, love the neighbor, and charity, they focus on abortion, same sex marriage, and Planned Parenthood. It's embarrassing to Christians everywhere that the far right has made Christianity out to be intolerant and ignorant... truly sad.

The dangers of our new normal...
EasternOHBillsFan replied to Deranged Rhino's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Sounds like a load of BS to me... it doesn't matter if you are a veteran or not... if you threaten our government, it is not a Constitutional issue anymore. You cannot threaten people under the guise of freedom of speech. If you don't like the way things are run, then vote... and if you try and threaten the peace under guise of a militia "protecting freedom" or other group, then be prepared to face the consequences. -
The Night Manager on AMC

It is really well done! If you enjoy this series, you should check out Marseille on Netflix... went to it after watching the latest TNM episode on DVR. It is like a French House of Cards. -

Jeff George had the same kind of rep that Cook has now... entitlement, arrogance, chemistry issues. That's what I thought of when I read what Cook was about. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2000/apr/24/20000424-011118-1504r/?page=all -
Scathing article in NYDN on Peyton Manning
EasternOHBillsFan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So, as a reminder, Cam Newton's shady past, to where he had NO KNOWLEDGE of pay for play. Tit for tat game, I say. The no substantiation game goes both ways, so sit down, Mr. King. "Now the bizarre part: The NCAA did determine that the pay-for-play allegations against Newton's father, Cecil, are accurate and amount to a violation of Association bylaws. Its investigation found that "the student-athlete’s father and an owner of a scouting service worked together to actively market the student-athlete as a part of a pay-for-play scenario in return for Newton’s commitment to attend college and play football." This is exactly the story that emerged in the press last month. As a result, Auburn has "limited the access" of Cecil Newton to the program, and Mississippi State has formally "disassociated" ex-Bulldog Kenny Rogers, the alleged (and confessed) middleman in the elder Newton's attempt to solicit a low six-figure cash payment from Mississippi State during his son's recruitment out of junior college last year. The investigation into all relevant parties and schools remains ongoing, per the NCAA's release: "Reinstatement decisions are independent of the NCAA enforcement process and typically are made once the facts of the student-athlete’s involvement are determined. The reinstatement process is likely to conclude prior to the close of an investigation." What the NCAA apparently did not find, though, is that Cam Newton actually accepted any improper benefits or, as far as it can uncover, had any knowledge of his father's scheme. Neither, apparently, did Auburn. If evidence to the contrary ever emerges, the story may be rewritten yet again." http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/blog/dr_saturday/post/NCAA-finds-pay-for-play-but-Cam-Newton-is-in-th?urn=ncaaf-290855 -
Scathing article in NYDN on Peyton Manning
EasternOHBillsFan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It ceased to be an "abstract issue" when the motives for this "story" were based on race. It invalidates the entire piece to know that the intent is reprehensible. -
Scathing article in NYDN on Peyton Manning
EasternOHBillsFan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This whole thing started because one quarterback chose to be a baby and not act like an adult after a loss, while the other one after enduring many a loss and acting like an adult won another Championship.... and the justification for the reporting of this was based upon his SKIN COLOR.... that to me is intolerable. This "journalist" should be roundly criticized for this obvious tabloid journalism... -
Sully Blasts McCoy
EasternOHBillsFan replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You make it seem as if the bad day at the office was the ONLY instance of him being a jerk and not backing up his talk, but as we have seen it is not the case. I'm sure you can find many jerks who have done at least one nice thing in their lives.... but it doesn't change the assessment! -
Sully Blasts McCoy
EasternOHBillsFan replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Typical "Bash Sully, not the player or the coaching" routine... he told it like it is, and you are deriding Sully? Get over yourselves... McCoy played like crap in the second half, and this coaching staff wastes Whaley's great selections, ruined our defense and is undisciplined which DIRECTLY reflects Rexie, which should be the next column in the arsenal. We're OUT of the playoff hunt and it's another year of mediocrity, and Sully hasn't coached, managed, or played in a single one of the countless games over countless seasons this team has dissapointed in... so that's the bottom line. -
Tim Murray: Footbal Czar?
EasternOHBillsFan replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A great job? Yeah, let me know when or if the Sabres ever have a winning record again. Any GM can gut a team for a very high draft pick... no thanks. Tim Murray is garbage and I can't wait until he's fired so we can get someone in there worthy of the position. -
So, I have heard some doozies in my time as a Bills fan, including the all time playbook Hobert quote, the Leon Seals "get the hell out of Buffalo" quote and others, but this one takes the cake. As a quarterback, it is your responsibility to be a leader and accept the fact that when you are terrible, you own it. Today, he chose to ignore the obvious, and proves why over his career in a Bills uniform he has learned little about what it takes to be a starting NFL quarterback. I find it insulting that he would have the audacity to say he did not cost our team the game, and to be honest, I would much rather have someone with less talent who genuinely works to improve themselves backing up Tyrod than a gifted quarterback who doesn't learn jack. He has now put himself in that Rob Johnson category.
