    You obviously haven't been a Bills fan for a long time, because Green Lightning has it absolutely right. More often than not, any success we have found early is washed away and we are left shaking our heads. We wouldn't still BE HERE is weren't diehard fans, so come now... no one is a bandwagon fan of a team who hasn't made the playoffs in umpteen years.

    The 1999 Bills team... inconsistent QB play, a really solid defensive minded coach, and an awesome defense that just made play after play after play. Sure the 1999 Bills had a couple of Hall of Famers, but this team very well could have a couple if McDermott is the real deal. We shall see.

    The game will have to be changed based upon neurological studies, not based on one hit in a game. There have been plenty of examples of the dangers- and why isn't Landry's hit on Aaron Williams any less dangerous???

    I look at someone like E.J. GAINES who has fought and fought and fought through injuries and is finally making a huge impact in the NFL. That's more effort and determination than Dareus could ever possibly match.

    That's what I was trying to convey, given the numerous experiences I have heard in my 20 years in the military.... our diversity is our strength, but with it comes a lot of stories from all over this country, some good, some bad.

    You are not black. There has been a definitive problem with racial profiling and police stops when it comes to African-Americans. Simple... no matter how much you THINK you understand, these two undisputed facts (i.e. NOT assumptions) must mean you do not fully understand.

    Of course the Rams are better than us... brilliant offensive mind as HC, high draft pick RB, young developing franchise QB, two newly acquired WRs off a bad passing team, and the best front four in football. They may be right now, but there is no reason why we can't get there as well.

    However, they did upgrade our CB position and allowed flexibility to build an offense. It was a risk to trade based on past injury history, but we will survive.
