  1. A $20 million cap hit comes along with the pick, and how would we remotely cover that number? The Browns aren't. If he does move, it is not to the Bills during the season.
  2. So is Joe Columbo still considered Italian? Asking for certain "friends of the family"
  3. Trading for Cooper wasn't a "there's always next year" kind of a move... what do you expect in a transition year like this one? Beane jettisoned the older players and bit the bullet cap wise and that is what great teams do. While it isn't perfect it is what we have to do to remain a force and not just grasp for shiny objects.
  4. The Browns can get a ton more for Garrett than any other player on that team, but there is no way they would do it. Beane isn't going to mortgage our future by throwing high value picks around, he just isn't. We're getting Von back soon and Milano in December... this team can only get better without sacrificing future high value picks.
  5. Clearly in 2024 that doesn't even matter anymore if you have money.
  6. Greg Cosell is not just any talking head... if you watch content from Greg Cosell and Mike Florio then you learn a lot about the details, much moreso than you get from the cartoon characters out there on TV.
  7. My viewing day consists of: Unsportsmanlike (I love the Chris Canty honesty) Get Up (best day group) First Take (Only for Mad Dog) Colin Cowherd (Some good guests, love seeing "Booger" Mac tortured by the bad Jests) . . Nightcap with Unc & Ocho (MY FAVORITE OVERALL) Locked on Bills (MY FAVORITE BILLS)
  8. It's Week 8. We didn't bring in Cephus and MVS in Week 8.
  9. I have noticed as my wife has that the Bills wait until halftime to make crucial defensive adjustments in most of the games. Also, with the limited abilities of the WRs we have started so far because of injuries and not having a true #1 WR, Josh has had to figure out with help from coaches how to best break through how the opposing defense was slowing them down. With the booming trend for Keon and the acquisition of Coop, the limitations we once had SHOULD melt away and we will get better and better. I am not worried at all as we get healthier.
  10. What does this say about Worthy if they have to bring in JuJu AND now Hopkins?!?! In the last two games, his catch percentage is abysmal. This move is desperation because the Chiefs keep on drafting badly at WR, whether it is poor performance or off the field issues. The Chiefs can afford to be desperate the way their defense is playing right now, and I look forward to the Bills getting our defensive starters back this coming month.
  11. I'm sick to death of hearing about this subject, because there are always certain players like Ryan Clark who will get on TV and say no doctor or specialist told him not to play again, as if he is like any other player out there. It's like a performer/stuntman who regularly risks their life, but one has hurt themselves so many times that they think they can keep doing what they love and one day, poof, they are hurt for life or worse. Tua's chances of really being hurt for life are much greater but he and players like Ryan Clark think he can play on. Stupid is as stupid does in this case it seems...
  12. I drafted Dobbins in back to back drafts, he is out for the season early, don't this season and he's doing really well. I have been playing fantasy football since 1996, back when we used a posterboard for picks and I scored games using the newspaper. I actually drafted Eddie George and Adam Vinatieri as rookies LOL
  13. Keon is so slow that Marshawn Lynch wouldn't have been able to avoid him at 3am stone cold sober.
  14. My fantasy team Daniels = drafted him, traded him 2 weeks ago Aiyuk = drafted him, traded him 2 weeks ago Nacua = injured for a lot of the season now Nico Collins = injured for at least a month Fortunately I snagged Mason on a Thursday when I saw McCaffrey had an injury... best pickup so far, but no good soon.
  15. Jags are awful playing a dreadful team
  16. Did you see what Jared Goff did today? 22/25, 280 yards, 2 TDs in a win against the previously unbeaten Vikings in Minnesota. This season: 73.6% completion, 1,610 yards, 10 TDs, 4 INTs, 111.5 rating. Let's hold off on the MVP talk while QBs like Goff and Lamar are winning games against good teams. Josh needs to start doing the same in order to be in that group.
  17. Abandoning the run ALREADY is not a good sign. Why, Brady, why?!!
  18. DON'T MAKE FUN OF MY FUSS-BALL!!!!!!!!!!!! MMMMMMMRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! 😁
  19. You're not a Sabres fan then. 😂
  20. Go complain to the fetuses you call babies and report back if they heard you or not 😂
  21. Davante Adams with the same ragged offensive line? Bold move Cotton, let's see how it pays off for him
  22. I never got why people compared one comedy to another... also people tend to really drag down reviews for comedy that they don't get or isn't their cup of tea which doesn't usually happen in other genres. Friends is one of those shows I just could never get into nor relate to.
  23. In the UCLA/Rutgers game today, Rutgers attempted an onside kick down by 3. The kick went 10 yards, fielded by a UCLA player, and returned for a TD. Instead of it being 42-32, the refs said one of the UCLA players SIGNALED A FAIR CATCH while the ball was in the air, and the TD didn't count, 1st down UCLA and they ran out the clock. This is ridiculous... there should be no fair catches on onside kicks. That is the first time I have ever seen that nonsense!
  24. I agree with everything except for #4... totally not a thing during games
  25. The quality of talking heads in the NFL space (commentators, studio hosts, in the week shows) had declined considerably. The professionals have been jettisoned because of their high salaries, gotten too old for the job or have died off. I STILL don't accept the fact that college football commentators are doing NFL football games and it is amateurish and frankly is an insult to the pro game. It's not just ESPN, but you see it on EVERY NETWORK... Fox, CBS, NFL Network, Prime, Peacock... Nothing will change and I told my wife that I would much rather watch a game with the sound muted and music playing than listen to the never ending inane chatter. I have nothing against Scott Hansen from the Red Zone channel, but even his weekly presentations have gotten stale and repetitive.
