  1. This is exactly what the case was. He had that huge game and never saw that many snaps again after Nicks returned. Coughlin/Gilbride do not give their younger talent a lot of opportunities when there's a veteran incumbent. After they were well out of the playoffs this year, and Cruz got hurt, they started to use Jernel Jernigan and found out that he's pretty freaking good. Yet - they struggled to find offensive weapons all season and rarely played him. There's hope for Barden.
  2. We take for granted how cool he appears to be back there….and since Day 1. For a 3rd Rounder - his rookie season eats our first rounder's lunch (so far).
  3. yet both are in the conference championship in consecutive years..yes great defense. ..yes great ol/rb.....and No....EJ couldn't QB either team this far....Both guys are going to win a lot of games. Brees had 30 yards passing in the first half. ...The elements had a lot to do with Wilson's low total. Not a great stat to pull if you're going to knock him.
  4. I'll get it started: http://chicago.barst...01/KAW6hk21.jpg Both have ridiculous talent around them Both have good-to-great coaches Both have elite Defenses Both were passed on by Buddy Nix knowing our #1 need was QB Who ya got??? Still kills me that Wilson is not a Bill. Brains, athletic ability, leadership, maturity, cool in the pocket, doesn't make the big mistake. Kaep is a stud but Wilson has the heart of a Champion and I think he will have more success.
  5. Anyone that quotes stats from the Pat's Superbowl years and holds them up to other stats from legitimate non-cheaters to make the argument that Brady/BB/The Pats were better is football-ignorant.
  6. okay so I didn't read the whole thing
  7. Metzelaars and Riemersma in a 2 TE package. Antwain Smith Moulds Kelly
  8. Hahahahahahahaha You can Dere-leek ma ballz Tommy
  9. That Finkel is no Einhorn..... or is he?
  10. Honestly, how could anyone HATE Peyton Manning? Freaking model citizen of all time, pro's pro, class act and the best field general I have ever seen. Those who want him to go away, look at whats around the corner.....the inked-up gamer generation with Superman complexes. Brady played in a system predicated on cheating for a large part of his career. He benefited greatly from methods that were indeed known to be violations of the rules. This is a fact. He mastered a system (damn well I might add), and while the level of mastery is oddly something to be in awe of, it is beyond me how that little painful fact of cheating is so easily forgotten by many. It negates everything done before the story broke....and tarnishes everything after. Yes he deserves asterisks all over his stats, NO he does not deserve the HOF, nor does Bellicheck. They do not deserve their Lombardi's . They do not deserve any of the 3 rings. They won every SB by 3 points - cheating. It made a difference. The media has blacked it out, the NFL has conveniently left it behind as it's a threat to the gravy train....it is in no way an indication of the significance of the matter. Brady doesn't belong in the same conversation as Manning. Anyone (thats not a fan boy) with a moral compass would agree.
  11. And Steve Smith won't last forever....I agree, Carolina seems to be the fit
  12. Typically they do, you are right. The Giants knew well before addressing the Cruz issue last offseason that they had Nicks around the corner. The Nicks camp was watching. As soon as they paid Cruz #1 receiver money, it was clear that there would be a limit to the upside of staying with the Giants. He then skipped OTAs with no reported injuries....proceeded to dog the entire season....did not stretch out or fight for the ball...caused a few of Eli's picks....and dropped balls. He was a ghost all year. If I had to choose between a guy hiding injuries and couldn't perform and a guy who has his agent in his ear, knows he's injury prone and went the self preservation route knowing he could get a #1 receiver contract elsewhere and rest on hid resume.....it screams of the latter.
  13. Agreed....but he is still only 25. I think it will be carolina or the Jets that pay him. Was not a team guy this year. When Cruz got the big money, he went into protection mode inhis contract year knowing that teams do not carry 2 10million/year WRs. The ball had to hit him in the chest or he would make no effort. Too bad because when he is ON, he could dominate a game.
  14. that is such an AWESOME thought. mmmmmmthis!
  15. Paul McGuire was a legend…never pulled punches…..also was a 1/2 closet Bills fan
  16. 6'2'' 225ish - good build for the No Fun League. He should be in the 2nd wave of QB's - WIth McCarron, Boyd, Mettenberger, and another interesting prospect Stephen Morris from the U. I do agree in that if you are committed to another QB in this 2nd wave....pick your guy and do what SF did with Kaepernick....make it happen earlier. Lot's of teams with franchise QB's/Solid starters could be looking to shop this group: Dallas, NYG, Titans, NYJ, Arizona, St.Louis...and Buffalo.
  17. Giselle is a wrinkled up bag compared to what our boy Garoppolo would be pulling down as an NFL star.
  18. Gold Russ....GOLD! We finally have an answer to Brady in the looks game. You just doubled December female attendance....forget Toronto....we can have Garoppolo!
  19. Heavy Italian population in Buffalo.....Russ? where are you.....this is marketing GOLD Russ.....GOLD I tell ya!
  20. Playing in the Senior Bowl as well. Interesting to see who will scout him.
  21. One and done....no way they get out of Denver this year.
