Hate: Our QB situation - we are severely lacking a veteran presence there. The denial that occurs on TBD when the topic of the Patriots cheating their way to 3 SB's comes up. I think Trump sees the bigger play here…..he is a master Real Estate developer…and we are pretty much a blank canvas for someone with that kind of vision….money….and influence. Think about it: This is not charity, in the mind of a Trump, this is a once in a lifetime FOR HIM We have an NFL franchise…there are only 32 in existence…he's been dying to be in the owners club…it's the only club he can't get into….we all know the USFL story. We have one of the 7 wonders of the world….there are only 7, hence the title. MASSIVE tourism dollars go from Buf Airport- straight to Canada every year and nobody even thinks to do do anything on the US side. Pure potential. On the Canadian side, there are higher end hotels and casinos…casinos on the US side….and a bad need for credibility in the luxury hotel space (just ask Tommy Brady and his vagina).hmmm…The Donald may know a thing or two about lux hotels and casinos. This guy has dealt in NYC/Palm Beach/Miami/Northern NJ Real estate dollars his entire career….his cost basis:upside in this area is quite attractive. Because it's the only NY State NFL franchise…he can beat up the politicians and probably get some county/state level help - tax benefits for adding jobs…financing etc. There's virgin real estate opportunity all along the waterfront. and….lastly….do not think for one second that THE Donald is not dreaming of cutting the ribbon on TRUMP STADIUM: Niagara Falls NY. The only thing that bothers me about it is that he's too flashy for Buffalo. I would much rather have a local ownership that understands the fan base. It would be a little bit of selling our souls to the devil. At the same time, we all complain that we do not get any national attention, we are never taken seriously, we are the butt of the jokes for decades, were cheap, we can't keep talent here, etc. etc. Things take a dramatic turn with Trump….for better or worse. It's a ride that I would opt to take at this point because Bon Jovi opening the Toronto Bills first game is too sad for words.

No sarcasm intended, honest question: How often does a team that announces their intention to move up in this manner actually wind up doing so? Hard not to believe that it's just the usual fun -n- games. An earlier poster hit it on the nose that we are probably the only team in the top10 that could scare EVERY team above us by moving up as we can take literally any one of the top players and screw up draft boards. As much as I would love to see Clowney or Johnny Buffalo, and the Bills to make an aggressive move like this, we become a nightmare to other GM's if we are up at the top of the draft….so why not float it (whoever floated it) and see what other GM's are thinking?

The Bills are indeed Buffalo. I fear that the NFL's tipping point for going beyond greed will be severing its ties with the Buffalo fan base and moving the Bills. I would rather it be so many other events…..it just seems to be our fate.
