  1. We may have had one of the best off seasons in franchise history - and the one thing we didn't do - can and will ruin this season.
  2. wow. http://www.cbssports...ne-handed-catch He's going to be so much fun to watch!
  3. For the record...(Someone mentioned it earlier in thread), Del Frisco's onion rings are ridiculous in size as well as price.
  4. not looking good..... http://nypost.com/20...le-with-giants/
  5. A little swagger on the Bills is healthy for all of us.
  6. Mega-Watt - feels like a winner right there. Sammy the Bill - honorable mention for clever.
  7. He was an insurance policy in the event that Eli's injury required a longer recovery. Painter also had surgery. Both reported to be recovering well.
  8. bison burgers are delicious...and lean.
  9. I get a good vibe from the Cyril pick....can't explain it.....just think we struck Rd. 5 gold there.
  10. Vontaze Burfict
  11. Kiko Kiko If it can't be Kiko, then OROY: Odell Beckham - a little more "pro-ready" than our guy with a better QB...will benefit from 1 on 1 coverage as cruz will draw the double teams. DROY: Mack. Clowney and Watts are a downright fukng nightmare tandem for OC's but....Mack will singlehandedly elevate that defense like Von Miller did in Den.
  12. "If EJ falls short it will be a shame because we have the components to be a very good team. If we don't win it will fall in his lap and it could very well set us back for many years" OR.....OR.... you could have picked up a veteran QB that can come in on a moment's notice and keep the team competitive. That way it's not such a dramatic gamble for the franchise.
  13. So goes life in the NFL...winning teams know how to close. Hoping our young guys learned a lot from all of those close games and we become one.
  14. Honestly, f-ck this guy already ESPN holds the record for jumping the shark anyway....I'd rather read TBD than watch ESPN and I do.
  15. Where exactly did I call for a 5th Rd rookie? A veteran signing sounds perfect, thanks for making my point. Going with the 5th round rookie assumption, if the kid had upside and he was backing up EJ....let's see what he could do! It keeps something called hope alive...(hey this kid could be the future) which our 2 current backups would not do....we saw everything they have last year....and there is no upside. My "dream world" as you put it was pretty much all of our nightmare in 2013....and our FO just doubled down on the exact same 3 guys. Vick, Schaub, Sanchez...say what you want about them...they have all led teams to the playoffs and all appear to be ready for backup roles. If we had any one of those 3 behind EJ, nobody would be discussing the QB position with concern the way we are now.
  16. So it's wrong to not want to celebrate homosexuality? Youre embracing the very same behavior that you believe that you are defending against- the right to express one's opinons/feelings/stance on a topic openly. You are topping that (no pun intended) by assuming that anyone that doesnt agree with you is somehow anti-this or homophobic that....subtle/not so subtle....you've got it all figured out. Someone has to be categorized and wrapped in a label because they disagree with you? Doesnt that make you guilty of the same exact thing?
  17. So...everyone has to be sympathetic towards his plight or else they're not evolved? Everyone wants the ability for one to be open about his preferences - yet want to squelch those that are openly not in favor of it (and carry the same exact right to feel that way and express their feelengs openly). Nice backdoor (no pun) assault on free speech! Good luck Michael.....you wanted an even playing field....you got it......NFL locker rooms are brutal places especially for rookies of all sexual preferences. I'm all for your right to be there....as much as I am all for someone to openly object to it.
  18. OMG - now there is no other QB that could come in and do better than EJ/Thad/Tuel....so the conversation on QB should be closed and anyone tha tdisagrees is a whiny b-tch? Everywhere else in the NFL, unless there's a true franchise incumbent starter, the QB position is a competition. Here we spare feelings and protect our 1st rounder. OK.....let's throw a scenario out there.....Preseason Game 3: EJ goes down with a knee injury and will mis the first 4-6 weeks of the season. NOW WHAT? (cue the EJ excuses, FO excuses and Thad looked pretty good except for all the fumbling threads)
  19. Its so so risky to handle the QB position like this....and choosing to do so makes it inexcuseable. Our #1 could still be a bust - jury is very much out on him. Yes, he deserves this season BUT the team and the fans deserve reasonable hope for salvaging the season if he were to get injured like he has already done 3x.
  20. Our OC was quite underwhelming at times last year. Here's to improvement - he too will have 0 excuses this year. On the whole - we are leaving ourselves WIDE open for a disaster at the QB position with no insurance policy.
  21. Unreal value in the 5th round. Well done Doug!
  22. You get Katherine Webb in a 2 for 1 here....IN
