I'm not saying I agree or disagree, just thought you'd be interested.

I can't believe i saw people write "who cares"
Let me direct you to some Bills recievers facts:
Eric Moulds first two seasons:
1996 : 20 rec. for 279 2 TDS
1997 : 29 rec. for 294 0 TDs
Andre Reed:
it took Andre Reed till his 5th season (1989) to record his 1st 1,000 yard season
Lee Evans:
it took him till his third season to have a 1000 yard season
3rd season till he broke 50 receptions
I know you can start an argument about any of those recievers but i have one simple point.......
patience my friend
hope his injury is not serious
Good points. I recall Moulds almost being run out of town (by media and fans after his first 2 seasons).
Last I read, Hardy tore his ACL. I know from personal experience (I tore mine 10 years ago) it takes a good year to fully rehab it.
Recall when Jamal Lewis and Edge James tore theirs, they each weren't back to 100% until their 2nd seasons after their injuries (I think).

WGR and Bills fans who listen to it belong together. They are the worst possible fans full of criticism and hate with pretending they know more than football professionals when they know less than Detroit's front office.
I'm thinking that you're a Bills fan AND you've listened to WGR before...
just saying.

the original post was dead-on.......i don't mind the personalities one bit; it's not personal. what is annoying about our only sports talk radio station is the lack of sports that gets talked about......there is too much "my wife told me ..." or chick-flick discussions........there is a huge market for someone who will talk sports......there isn't a station in town that talks sports these days......
good post......
I love WGR - especially during football season. I'm not a big fan of Schopp's, however. He has admitted he is not a football/Bills fan.. (NOT A FOOTBALL FAN???? IN A FOOTBALL TOWN???) He's a tennis fan, mostly. That's fine, but not as host of a daily sports show in Buffalo. Plus, he is very short-tempered with callers. He is a major reason why I've never called in. I like all of the other hosts.
When I get tired of Schopp, I usually tune into Sirius NFL Radio. Has anyone ever heard Pat Kirwin or Tim Ryan? Now, those guys know how to treat callers - with respect, and they value their listeners' opinions.
BTW, Howard Simon and Jeremy White can be quite funny.

If Stevie has a good offseason, the Bills could be solid at WR next year. Evans-Johnson-Reed, with Parrish and Hardy around for situational needs. We'll need a goddam tight end, and a freaking game plan.
Everyone seems to forget Hardy tore his ACL... there's no guarantee he'll be on the field next season.
But, I like the idea of Johnson as a #2, Reed in the slot, and Roscoe as a #4

Reading this thread makes me glad fans don't make rosters. Trading peters would be stupid. Complete stupidity. Anyone who watched him the second half of this year would realize that he has played very, very well and has deserved the pro bowl.
Do people who post actually watch games? Or watch games? Or understand what a pro-bowl tackle is? Jeez.
He has had his share of big plays early in the season, and in the running game, too. Check out his run blocking in the Raiders game on Marshawn's TD run down the left sideline.

Right now he is one of the cheapest but on the open market he will fetch top dollar, imo
Exactly. So, why trade him when you have him signed at a relative bargain?

It is way too early to call any rookie a bust. (Lots of people called Moulds a bust as a WR after his 2nd season) BUT, Hardy has a torn ACL - there are no guarantees he can fully recover from that injury. Sure, guys come back all the time now, but they are not always 100% of where they were. In fact, Hardy may be in the PUP or IR all of the 2009 season!

Very intriguing. My only concern is Nolan's affinity for the 3-4, which we don't have the personnel to operate.
The Bills don't have the personnel for a 4-3, either!
-
He's probably one of the cheapest starting LTs in the league. No, they won't trade him.
-
I'd take McMuffin, but keep Trent. Give Philly a draft pick (anyone they want)!!!
It's a no brainer. Look how most of the Bills' #1s have gone, anyway.

Never mind changing just Jauron? Why stop there? Brandon is a baseball guy and a marketing guy. Speaking of "guy" - what has John Guy done? Modrak? Etc.
I think if Ralph wants to maximize the value of his team so his estate can get top dollar, he shouldn't mind spending money on a quality GM and coach. Spend money to make money. Makes sense to me...
