There is an article out there from last week where Frank Tripuka is quoted saying he would be honored if Manning wore the #18. I was hoping the Bills would target him before free agency opened. I was surprised they went right for Mario. Sounds like a pretty good deal for Tenn. They got him for less than half of what we paid Mario.

I wanted him to be great.. but no.. I'd move on and wish him well. Losing starters every year to injuries is killing this team. I'd rather they give a guy like Roosevelt a shot instead.

Whoooaaa.. wait a minute.. They were saying on the TV networks that good teams don't need a sign a bunch of free agents in the off season.. Good teams allegedly only need a slightly offset their draft with one or two free agents.. That's what I have been hearing for a couple weeks on the NFL channel.. So I take it this means the Pats aren't a good team since they need to sign so many FA's? Good teams build through the draft.. or so we've been told..

I think you guys are all missing the fact that he was a #1 overall pick.. so he must be elite.. duh. Surprised the Bills aren't going after him trying to accumulate back to back #1 overall picks.. We could have the #1's from 2005 and 2006..

Jerome Simpson from Cincy looked pretty good last year.. what about him?

I think our biggest need now is LT and CB but do like Ingram.. Based on some of the mock drafts I've seen Ingram might not even be available at 10. If he's there I would be difficult not to take him.
