That was some seriously funny sh-- yesterday. Damn I love that show.

I don't disagree with that analysis, but remember, the island gave him back his legs. Think about the scene in the tour operators office...Locke yelling that he could do the tour, that he shouldn't be told that he couldn't. While the kidney donation debacle probably resulted, ultimately, in this parallysis, I think the loss of the use of his legs was the most devasting thing to him. The level to which he felt indepted to the island for giving him back his legs is unimaginable. And when he "saw into the eyes of the island" is when the island told him what was expected of him.

I truely believe that Locke is not evil...he's just becoming more and more blind to reality as he continues to answer to the "island."

Dude...that pretty much sums me up to a tee. I would love a Super Bowl win, of course, but that damn 90's team deserved to get one...just one would have been fine. I loved those guys.

It sure did look like that...my wife and I were convinced that he had been shot in the chest. Then he gets up and it turns out he was only grazed on the head. Later, he's washing the shirt out, and you see that he does not have a chest wound (in case anyone thought he was walking wounded again - see leg injury).

That's certainly a possibility. My theory is that the island is going to play the two against one another.

I think that's a good theory. She wasn't that far out, and if she was such a bad swimmer, she wouldn't have gotten into the water in the first place. Plus, she went down pretty quick.

True...though his questions did seem reasonable given the fact that he's expected to be one of the passengers. I agree that Walt does not want to leave the island. Is the island going to use him to keep Sayid, Jack, Sawyer and the others from getting into the hatch? Locke and Walt have always been the two most closely touched by the island, so it seems like a reasonable scenario that the two would end up at odds with one another. As soon as last night's show was over, I was alredy waiting for next week. Damn...seven days is a long time to wait!

Wow...I think that's kind of a reach, but with this show, you never know.

OK...this idea just hit me... What if the hatch issue divides the survivors...but it becomes Locke and some others vs. WALT and the rest of the group. I'm wondering if the look that Walt gave Locke was a prelude to a divide forming between those two, and with Walt having his "powers," the island starts working on the survivors through him. Hmmm...

Yeah, and in the preview you see Walt getting involved with the hatch issue...should be interesting. To tell you the truth, I wouldn't be surprised if Walt is continually aware of what is going on...he seems to be an clued in as Locke.

It was def after he saw the "monster." And I just needed a little time to digest tonights episode. I thought it was a good one...priceless scene was Sawyer wearing those glasses and reading to the baby. It does seem like the Locke issue may be somewhat resolved, though I think we will see Shannon go after Locke again in some way. tgreg...no preview discussion since you didn't see it? Didn't seem like any potential spoilers...just foder for discussion.

I think we've all realized long ago that the previews we see for this show are EXTREMELY misleading.

I was thinking about that preview of Locke getting shot...the preview is actually of Locke being blown backwards with a gunshot superimposed over the video. It's possible that he's being blown backward by an explosion of some sort...perhaps after he's opened the hatch? Food for thought.

Wow...a Joe Dufek fan. His fan club meetings could have been held in a phone booth. You're right, though. That team (1985) was not exactly laden with talent, though some of the building blocks of the Super Bowl teams were being added (Andre and Bruce's rookie years).

Now this I like. First of all, he would make a quality backup. Secondly, this tells TH that he can sit out all he wants - it isn't hurting the team at all.
