  1. The photo at BB.com looks like a mugshot, but then again, he was a former Dolphin (the team where mugshots and team pictures are interchangable).
  2. What's up with the fan in the Lee Evans picture wearing a Duke Preston jersey?
  3. After he left the gang last night, I figured he was toast. He surprised me by showing up again. Ah, he cheated death once, but next week he won't be so lucky.
  4. This tread has taken on a life of its own. WTF are we going to talk about between next week and the opening of training camp in July?!?!
  5. I watched an old Bills - Fish game recently, and Jim Richter's white pants had a ton of blood on it by the time the game reached the second quarter. Now THAT'S the kind of red I'm talking about!
  6. I don't either, but my main feeling about him is that he's just being introduced to us to be killed off next week.
  7. "If you want something kept secret, don't tell the fat guy."
  8. I think something along those lines could be possible. We should remember this about the hatch too, assuming that it is associated with the "aliens." It was mostly buried, indicating that it had not been used in quite some time.
  9. Well done, Crap, well done.
  10. You said "poop deck." And it was a two-master.
  11. And is that Rose sitting right in front of Locke? What the heck happened to her? Did someone here mention that she died in real life?
  12. Dude...that's a great screen capture, and here's why...Locke could not walk. There is no way he should have been seated in the middle (actually, near the back) of the plane like that. He would likely have been bulkhead, right behind a door. Since we know that he wasn't faking being paralyzed, one has to wonder if this wasn't a major oversight on the part of the writers.
  13. Ah, that's absolutely wonderful! The West Side Stadium can not die fast enough for me. I'm glad to see that the Jets are covering their bases, another sign that Bloombergs folly is not going to happen.
  14. I agree. Assuming for a moment that the alien slant mentioned earlier is true...could the island be nothing more than a lab experiment by these aliens for the purpose of studying human behavior?
  15. Dude...that's right, which makes the fact that the plane got to the island even more peculiar.
  16. I was just thinking that. Remember that the people in the plane that Locke and Boone found had Nicaraguan (sp?) money on them. That's too far to fly for a plane like that.
  17. Pataki and Bloomy better watch their asses regarding this damn stadium. They have been taking some serious heat over the past few weeks because of the delays associated with the Ground Zero redevelopment, with the opinion being that they have focused so much on the stadium that Ground Zero has been neglected. At a minimum, I think Pataki is going to have step back from the stadium issue and focus more of his attention on Ground Zero.
  18. Well, that was a surprising twist, wasn't it? And it sure did look like a pirate ship. Interesting. OK...here are a couple thoughts from last night. I agree with an earlier post...we were bombarded with new info last night. Some loose ends were finally tied up (Kate and the plane, Sawyer and Jack's dad). I like the Jack - Sawyer exchange...glad those guys have come together. The Sun - Jin reconciliation was very moving as well. Walt giving Vincent to Shannon was a great scene...though after I saw what she did to Sayid at the airport, I'm hoping she becomes a casualty of the others. Leslie Artz...the science teacher...new character to be built on next season...or a violent death in the struggle with the others next week? It almost seems too obvious that Danielle takes the baby next week, and that she is actually one of the others. I sort of hope it doesn't play out that way. That would be predictable (I was wondering last night if Danielle was leading them into a trap), and this show has been anything but predictable. Regarding alien slant...it would make sense given the fact that the hatch is such an anomalie, but again, I hope we don't go down that road. Lastly, here's a big guess at one of next seasons plot lines...the raft will run aground on the other side of the island, where...another group of survivors from the plane crash are residing, specifically those from the back of the plane...including that hottie Jack met in the airport bar. In addition, the rafters will suddenly realize that this other group of survivors are living an almost parallel existence when compared to their own group. There will be a strong leader (like Jack), and hot and tough female lead (the girl Jack met at the airport), someone that is being manipulated by the island (ala Locke), and so on. Now, my question is this...will these two groups of survivors be pitted against each other by the island, or will Sawyer and the boys attempt to bring the two groups together to fight against "the others." Thoughts on this theorized plot line are appreciated. The topic is LOST...discuss!
  19. Well said. Need to digest it overnight, and will happily provide my thoughts tomorrow morning. One more week of Lost...now THAT'S sad.
  20. Can you imagine? "Kendra...you're HIRED. Now go out and rebuild the Twin Towers. Damn I'd love those towers to be a part of the skyline again. Looking out my office window...it's still so damn empty over there.
  21. Without a doubt, Trump would bask in the spotlight this job would put on him. And of course, he would look to make money on it too. But if you look at all the projects he's done in NYC...they were done right. He has built beautiful new buildings and has revitalized old ones. I don't know if its to late in the game for him to get involved, but I sure hope he gets his chance.
  22. http://money.cnn.com/2005/05/18/news/newsm...dex.htm?cnn=yes If anyone can fix this mess, Trump can. With Bloomburg and Pataki all consumed with the West Side Stadium issue, the rebuilding of Ground Zero has fallen far behind schedule. It's almost four years later, and we still have nothing more than a big, ugly hole in the ground. I think Trump can be an ass at times, but I think in this case, he's the man to get this job done right. He's a New Yorker that actually has pride in this city.
  23. Obviously he violated his probation, and is being returned for another sint at the Joe Robbie Penitentiary.
  24. Oh my yes, please! Actually, the appropriate response would be to secure someones severed finger tip, liberally coat it with said cheese, and then feign biting into it.
  25. Yeah...that's right. The whole purgatory slant was raised and dismissed.
