  1. As long as its not THIS bass... http://www.nicolebass.com/
  2. Anyone got some batteries for my CD player?
  3. Yeah...we found that out last year that the previews are VERY VERY misleading.
  4. An absolutely gripping account of the tragedy. Thanks for the link.
  5. http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/09/12/katrina.impact/index.html Between f'in up the hurricane response and the poop about embellishing his resume...tsk tsk tsk. Dope. Go home and manage your horsey association again.
  6. Yeah, you're not kidding. It's all good...I love all my girls.
  7. Well, let's see. The wife loves Lost like me, and my 6 year old daughter loves the Bills like me. My 4 week old daughter just poops a lot, so she's a wash. Looks like a family divided.
  8. Given his performance yesterday, you think maybe Brett wishes he would have retired? It's going to be a very long season for the Pack.
  9. Uh oh...my wife just called and told me that the DVDs arrived today! Between that and the Bills, how am I going to make time for the wife and kids?!?
  10. I was going to make a similar post, 'caused I noticed the same thing. I was really surprised that Peter King didn't have something to say about it. Better this than everyone blowing JP's performance way out of proportion, only to hammer him when (if!) he has a bad game.
  11. I agree with UConn as well. This is the home of the TBD Lost discussions, and of course, we appreciate Scott for letting us play here. Puhonix...interesting question. "They are not..." most def alludes to a number of different possibilities, such as: what they've dealt with to date is nothing compared to whats coming; that the survivors themselves have a lot more secrets to give up; that they aren't the only ones who survived the crash. "Everything happens..." seems to be to hint at the overall theory that the island has brought everyone here for a reason, and that everything that has happened to date was planned/manipulated by the island. I think both taglines are appropriate, and that the shift to "Everything" may be hinting to a island-oriented revelation in the season premier. How's that!?
  12. I think a couple of major flaws on the Jets were right in the spotlight yesterday... The first, and foremost, is the fact that Herm Edwards sucks, and has sucked for years. Last year, the Jet's woes were Paul Hacketts fault, and the year before that it was Ted's fault. Well, this year Herm is out of excuses, though the local media has already been blaming their new OC for Chad's gaffs yesterday. The second is the fact that Chad is no better than an average QB. He looked scared, disoriented and completely lacking in confidence yesterday. I would say good thing for the Jets that they face the Fish next week, but Miami's D isn't bad, and Gus looked pretty good too. Can you image the AFC East standings next week if both the Bills and the Fish win? And NE is at Carolina, which isn't a gimme. Bills 2-0 Fish 2-0 Pats 1-1 Jets 0-2
  13. You only play 16 regular season games, and the goal is to win each one. Any win is a good win, regardless of who you played. Especially given the fact that this was JP's first start. Bottom line...it's better to be 1-0 going into TB rather than 0-1.
  14. Looks like its going to be played in San Antonio. I couldn't tell you anything about tix.
  15. Titans | C. Brown Will Start Sun, 11 Sep 2005 09:11:32 -0700 ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports Tennessee Titans RB Chris Brown will start Week 1. RB Travis Henry (toe) will also play. http://www.kffl.com/hotw/NFL I am going to be really curious to see how this situation evolves over the course of the season.
  16. Here here!
  17. What I wouldn't give for the old finger smiley right now.
  18. The things I will learn through the many many hours of viewing of the DVD set will serve only to strengthen my interpretive position come 9 pm on September 21. And I will be there at 10:02 pm (gotta give a guy a minute to take a piss...been sitting there for an hour afraid to leave the set!).
  19. Just off the phone with my bookie, and I've bet the house on Eagles to cover. Not to make you more nervous, John, but I thought you should know.
  20. Since 9-11, pat downs have become the way of life at Giants Stadium. And at Newark Airport, all footware is removed and xrayed. Ladies and gentlemen...there are some seriously nasty looking feet going through Newark Liberty International Airport.
  21. We have cliques here? I always thought it was a complete free-for-all of love and abuse all at once. Everyone is always welcome...especially is you would like to talk about a certain television show...
  22. Oh boy. See, that's what I'm afraid of...that I'm going to crack this thing open and obsessively pull apart each scene and line. Oh wait...I had been doing that anyway. Can't wait to get mine!
  23. The easiest to get to, and a freakin' marble status to tackle.
