  1. Jeez...now there's a glowing review. Get 'er done TD.
  2. We've been tossing that one around here at work all morning. A number of possibilities exist, including your theory. I personally believe that there has to be some sort of contact between the other survivors of Flight 815 and "The Others." What is probably going on is that one by one, the other survivors are being captured (or worse) by "The Others." The rest of the 815ers are constantly on the run. I think that the people chasing Jin were members of "The Others," though it wouldn't be a stretch to think that perhaps some of the 815ers have become "Others." How's that for confusing!?
  3. I think, in general, your theory is probably right. I like the idea that he is resetting a doomsday device. Now lets not forget this one fact...at the beginning of Ep1, it was the "countdown alarm" that had woken Desmond up. What is the time frame between when he wakes up and when the alarm goes off again when he was talking to Locke? Think about it...it's probably no more than hour or so. How could he alone keep having to reset countdown every hour? And quite frankly, I don't think the countdown would have such a short duration...a day, or even just 12 hours would be more realistic. And don't forget this...when he hit the execute buttom after he woke up, he did so in response to an unhappy icon | I don't think he typed in the numbers. Once thought here is that the computer also serves as his morning alarm clock...hence the unhappy face. At face value, this Ep filled in the gaps in the storyline given to us in Ep1. However, I see Ep2 as all about the little details...the things discussed earlier in this tread...the logo, the swan, the password, the candybar, etc. The writers of this show full well know the level to which each scene is dissected, and I think this Ep was written to give the viewer the chance to do some serious speculation and interpretation.
  4. Body for body trades are pretty rare in this league, though there have been a few more than usual as of late. I'd say if this deal gets done, it will be for our 3rd in next years draft (not the TN one we got for Travis).
  5. Jeez...what a fantastic tie in! I have to say...the work done by the folks on this thread is top notch. Figuring out what the symbol is, and then all the subsequent analysis is great. I really loved how last nights episode really fleshed out what we saw during Ep 1. Anyone catch Kate's rack as she crawled down the air duct. HEY NOW!
  6. While you fellas continue your debate, the Bills are thumping the Pack! Bills 1156 63% Pack 677 37%
  7. I like the theory on the timer reset relating to the place destroying itself. The thinking is that if everyone is dead, the no one could reset the timer and BOOM! Looks like next week we get to meet all sorts of new folks!
  8. Good theory. Let's take the discussion over to the Ep 2 thread.
  9. Lost will have officially jumped the shark when Kate, Claire and Shannon take a shower together under a water fall, have a playful little romb, and end up in a delicious threeway. And all the while, Hurley is hiding in the woods polishing his knob.
  10. My wife just reminded me of her favorite scene...when Napoleon is riding shotgun on Pedros bike and Uncle Rico hits him in the head with a steak!
  11. Well, after that tasteless display, you're going to be kept in your own quarantine! Just make sure you drop the pizza off first.
  12. Blah blah blah Bills 211 48% GB 232 52%
  13. That movie is a freakin' nut buster! I love it! I love the scenes at the chicken farm... "Do chicken have large talons?" The way that chicken farmer talked. When it came to lunch time, all they had to eat was...eggs.
  14. Listen...you told me that you can only drink the light stuff because you're watching your waistline. OK...so this week its Samuel Jackson Oktoberfest (drink my beer B word!) and a case of Jager. And no one is going to claim the Kate doll after what UConn did to it last week (shudder).
  15. GB 138 Buff 110, BTW.
  16. Um...me thinks you've added just a wee bit too much sarcasm Scott.
  17. I like the new thread idea.
  18. Does he actually say it to Locke, or is that another example of the cut up previews that are made to mislead us. Maybe he was actually saying that to Jack.
  19. Dude...that's kind of harsh, don't you think?
  20. Nick...that's not sounding harsh. In the past, he has said that he wanted to spend as much time as possible taking care of Hunter and working for his cause. It is possible that he may now feel it appropriate to either return to TV, or perhaps enter the coaching business. Taking nothing away from Sam, I would love to see Jim join the staff.
  21. Hey...I like this...it's the "Silver-Lining Gang." I'm willing to give JP the benefit of the doubt as well...it's just been so damn frustrating.
  22. The thing is...I once did find her attractive. But now...SWEET FANCY MOSES!
  23. Looks like we're in good shape... Bills 4010 52% Chefs 3681 48%
