Wow - The Old Ricky Williams is back
duey replied to Anon Y. Mous's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It is so apparent that his heart is not in it, and he only came back for the money (or rather to avoid being sued). -
Is it only that L. Johnson for KC and can think of nothing else but Friggin' Lonnie?!?
-
Dude...I just watched the ep again, and those are my thoughts exactly. Either he's Nigerian and came from the drug plane, or he's the tail ends version of Locke.
-
The Rickster is now 6 carries for -1 yards.
-
Hmmm...that could make sense given the fact that Boone is gone. Her romance with Sayid really doesn't have a lot of meat behind it, and in fact, losing her would really do a number on him (which would be good for the show).

The black fellow from New Orleans

My whole office is in an uproar over these pictures! We're dying over here! -
...I think the Sabres may have something good going on.
-
Dude...I'm sorry. Hang in there. I had my cat for 11 years. They're family members, so go ahead and grieve.

Wanna laugh? I spent a minute just sitting here trying to figure out what you were talking about in relation to Lost.
-
Aw crap...my theory takes a hit.

You're point about Jin picking up the language is well taken...but I'll still hold onto my theory for a little while longer. Could the others be bringing the bear from part of the planes wreckage to Walt to try to make him happy? To appease him? Because he might be making some pretty nasty things happen? Remember...Walt can make things happen by thinking about them. I had forgotten that Jin was a waiter while he was dating Sun. You're right...the friendship that has developed between Michael and Jin is a very nice storyline.
-
The shock for me was how willing Jin was to have his background degraded just to be a doorman. I was glad he told that dude to shove it.

I dont think Parrish will play in Oakland.

I disagree. The Raiders game is more important than the NE game for the sole reason that it is the next game. If they have one more weapon to throw at the Raiders, then they should use it. We need every win we can get. -
yeah...I don't agree with tgreg99 either...it wasn't the most revealing or mysterious show, but it was that bad. Consider it as a setup show for the next episode. I have to believe that the Korean language has its own word for "orange." Jin just seems to understand things a bit too well sometimes. What did Locke say to Sun in the garden...that's "we're not lost anymore?" I also think that her finding the ring renewed her feeling that Jin is OK. Kate said that she did not get a chance to say goodbye, to which Sun asked "Sawyer?" And Kate then gave a very small nod of the head. Are we to assume that all the people we saw during the walkthrough are all of the others. And remember...Alex would be at least 16 now...why would a 16 year old be carrying around a teddybear? And why did the teddybear have a leash? I've come to the conclusion that any conversation with Hugo is going to be priceless...dude.

Good analogy.

Very interesting episode tonight. Was bummed to hear that we have to wait three weeks for the next episode. First...I'm telling you...Jin can speak English. Not like in the dream sequence, but well enough. Why did he and his friend say "Orange" in English when the rest of their discussion was in Korean? Plus, he seems to understand a lot of things pretty well for someone who supposedly doesn't understand the language. The trailer for the next new ep says that someone gets lost forever. Looks like one of the new survivors is going to get it. Not much else right now...as always, I like to let things sink in overnight. Be back on the thread tomorrow morning. Oh, I did like Hugo's story about this dog crapping out a buck 35 in nickels.

Go to the bottom of the article. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2005/writ...nart/index.html Which team most needs Leinart? If we assume Brady Quinn stays at Notre Dame and ignore Reggie Bush for argument's sake, USC QB Matt Leinart will be the first clear-cut No. 1 pick in several years. With the Texans or the 49ers front-runners to get the top pick, we could be headed for an open-bidding trade situation, like we had with Michael Vick and San Diego in 2001. So which franchise is most likely to pursue Leinart in April? I'll rank 'em, then you let me know what you think: 1. Baltimore Ravens: No team has a bleaker future at QB than the Ravens. If they don't upgrade soon, coach Brian Billick is going to lose his offensive-guru status. 2. Cleveland Browns: Don't even say third-round pick Charlie Frye is waiting in the wings. 3. Detroit Lions: The Joey Harrington situation is already over. He's only in there because they have no other options. Backup Jeff Garcia is 35. 4. Oakland Raiders: Kerry Collins is locked into in a long-term deal, but this is Al Davis' team, so that's somewhat irrelevant. Davis loves big-name guys and Collins isn't working right now. 5. New Orleans Saints: Nothing against Aaron Brooks, but he's taking this franchise nowhere. He signed a hefty contract extension in 2002, but the Saints may have to suck it up and start looking for an alternative now. 6. Arizona Cardinals: All of a sudden Josh McCown is a potential QB of the future. He wouldn't be if Leinart was available. 7. Dolphins:- Good thing the weather's getting colder so the 'Fins can start losing and get into better position to get a QB. 8. Buccaneers: Chris Simms is a free agent at the end of the year, so he better impress the Bucs this season or they'll look elsewhere. Tampa Bay, however, may not have a high enough pick to trade up for Leinart. 9. Jets: Tragically, they still have cash tied up in Chad Pennington, so Bush might be a better option if they somehow find a way to move up in the draft. 10. Texans: They have to decide by the end of the season if they're going to honor the rest of David Carr's contract. They've already invested so much in the former No. 1 overall pick, they may feel obligated to do so. But they have to know they'd be better off with Leinart. Honorable Mention - Bills (J.P. Losman is a disaster), Bears (they're tied up with Rex Grossman and kind of like Kyle Orton), Chiefs (Trent Green is 35), Cowboys, Titans (would be higher, but committed to Billy Volek through '08) and Packers (Aaron Rodgers is already comfortable losing out to Leinart -- Andrew Perloff (1:30 p.m.) Should be Andrew Jerkoff, IMHO.

Gee, I'm surprised it took this long for something like that to get started. -
Just another reason to keep the sound off.

Is the Ralph turning into the Meadowlands?
duey replied to duey's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Part of being a protective parent. They're going to learn all that stuff at some point...but the least I can do is keep her from learning while she's in single digits! -
So where does Phillip Rivers get traded?
duey replied to BravinSeattle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'll waffle on this vote...you have to wait and see who is going to be in position to draft Leinart. -
Jets fans at the Ralph - Their Opinion
duey replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree. Back in the Kelly years, I would wear his jersey proudly into the Meadowlands. Now mind you, I would not say a single word the entire game, and I pretty much kept my ass in the seat regardless of what happened, but let me tell you, it was still a pretty rough experience. Just walking through the parking lot was an adventure. I've wised up and now go to the game wearing as little red and blue as possible and still keep my yap shut. It's called self-preservation. -
Bills to work out Quentin Griffin
