  1. Given the way this show likes its multiple tie-ins, I wouldn't be surprised.
  2. Nice twist...I can see it. Poor Jack...that dude is always in the middle of those life and death decisions. But then again...he's a doctor.
  3. She said that she had lived with a boyfriend in France.
  4. Jack did make a choice, though it was an easy choice to make. He chose not to try at all to save Rutherford, instead going with the girl because she had some chance at making it. A thought here regarding Shannon's possible death...could she be seriously wounded, giving Jack the opportunity to atone for not making an effort at saving her father? The fact that Cyndi was apparently taken last night, and Shannons death not confirmed makes me have just an inkling of a feeling that Shannon may pull through. My gut says no...that she's done and that her death will fuel major hatred between Sayid and Ana. But as well all have found out with this show...things are rarely as they seem.
  5. Odd...my local listings for next week show a one-hour episode. The title of the episode is "The Other 48 Days."
  6. SOB...I always loved that song.
  7. Lets give a little credit to Cornell. They played the Orange tough last year too. They don't have a bad little team down there in Ithaca.
  8. Hmmm...perhaps a bit harsh on the criticism, but I agree that the shows aren't as begining to end gripping as they were last season.
  9. All good points Scott. I would add... 1. Charlie being so possessive of both Claire and the baby is marginally acceptable as he has shown to have an addictive personality. At the same time, I think his jealousy, which has come on suddenly, was a bit overdone. 2. I agree completely. He still has the love of his life back here in the US. However, I would only add that his declaration of love for Shannon is probably a strong indication of his believing that they will never get off the island. 3. Given their volatile personalities, I would have thought anyone of the three guys would have told her to shut the f up. I too am surprise at how willing they have been to take her crap. 4. Whispers have been heard many times throughout Season 1, but this is the first time they have been directly associated with the Others. 5. Even if they saw the dog, I still think the B word would have shot Shannon. Ironic that she admonished Sawyer, et al ealier in the show ("One bullet will do nothing against them," or something like that), yet she was pretty damn quick to pull that trigger herself. I'm leaning towards the possibility that Shannon lives, and that other chick is gone for good. We shall see.
  10. No no...Walt was shushing her...telling her to be quiet. But she ran yelling into the jungle, scared the B word, and got shot.
  11. As long as I have my Kate, it's all good.
  12. Dude...the ep has aired. It's all fair game now. People on the left coast will just have to deal. Great episode! More thoughts tomorrow, but I have to say one thing...I told you it would be her.
  13. Yes...that was Jack.
  14. I know that a certain fat man wearing a big red suit and who rides in a sleigh handing out toys is fake, but I'm not going to give anything away cause it would be a spoiler.
  15. I agree that it will be one of the tail group...probably the blonde since they actually gave her some lines of dialogue. Mr. Echo is safe because I think they intend to use him to further divide the survivors. Michelle Rodriquez is safe because, well, she's hot. If it's one of the original survivors, my bet is Shannon. Her role has pretty much played itself out. I can see her doing something crazy in her pursuit of the Walt apparition and the Others getting her in the process. Ah...it's good to be talking Lost again. God knows there nothing left to be said on the other board.
  16. See, sometimes the right thing does get done. Kudos to the Eagles!
  17. The Raider game made me feel worse because it was just an overall disgusting effort. For the most part, I was proud of the team Sunday night...with a few exceptions.
  18. The end result was as I expected, though we made more of a game of it than I thought we would. Still...this loss came down to the same things that have been killing us all year. Poor execution, poor play calling and too many damn penalties.
  19. I heard that Bush didn't talk to God about the new nomination, but he gave Bruschi a call instead.
  20. I've had to resort to posting stories like this. I've got nothing to talk about, Lost-wise, and I really have nothing to say regarding the Bills.
  21. http://wcbs880.com/njnews/NJ--BalloonAccid...urces_news_html Woman injured in hot-air balloon mishap Sunday October 30, 2005 BETHLEHEM TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) A woman helping her husband launch his hot-air balloon was seriously injured Sunday when her leg got caught in a rope and she was pulled up into the air before falling and crashing through the roof of a barn. Kathleen J. Long, 53, of Phillipsburg, was in critical condition Sunday night at St. Luke's Hospital in Fountain Hill, but further details of her injuries were not disclosed. It was not clear how Long's leg got caught in the rope, but witnesses say she dangled from it for a short time and passed through several tree tops before she was knocked off. She then fell about 50 feet and crashed through the roof of the barn in Bethlehem Township. What I wouldn't give to have video of that whole thing!
  22. I liked it when Bruschi cured cancer last night. I think it was some time during the third quarter.
  23. Pats 34 Bills 3
  24. Damn...it still hurts...hurts f'in bad. http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/10/28/bones.gro...o.ap/index.html
  25. Dear God...what a load of rubbish!
