The fact that both these teams felt they had to run up the score shows a great flaw in the ranking systems. I think running up the score like both teams did is totally bush and classless.

Given the facts as we know them, if your theory were true, then it looks like things have gone to hell and the experiment is no longer on-going. And if that is the case, then why are the others still taking people...I doubt that they would be continuing the cloning after the Dharma experiment has gone kaput.

I was joking with a friend that a great drinking game would have been slamming a shot ever time John Madden said Polamalu, as in Troy, of the Steelers this past Monday night. As much as I love this band, they aren't so good at backing up their promises for new tours and albums. They said for years that they were going to tour to support the Beethoven album...never happened. And during last years concert, they said that they were going to release that non-Xmas album in early 2005...didn't happen either. I can't wait for the new album, but I'm not holding my breath!

Could this be an Army recruiting film showing the apprehension of terrorists? The timeline is curious to me, which delves into the discussion of Kate's age and when exactly did she visit her dad at the recruiting station. To check this out, I visited that timeline link posted in the last Lost thread (http://tviv.org/wiki/Lost/Timeline). Here are some facts... Sayid served during the Gulf War in 1991 Sayid rescued Nadia in 1997 Sayid left Iraq in 1997 The marshall begins pursuing Kate in 2001 Kate visits dying Mom in hospital in 2001 Kate and Tom dig up timecapsule in 2002; Tom shot and dies in 2002; Sayid's buddy kills himself on September 21, 2004 after Sayid reveals he's working with the CIA Assuming that Kate had killed Wayne in 2001 (when the marshall begins pursuing her), then that would put her visit to her dad around 2001/2002. Could it be possible that Sayid was picked up by the CIA at that time? If so, why would it be on tape? I can't think of anytime that Sayid would have been publically taken anywhere in handcuffs. Careful study of that screen capture shows that Sayid appears sweaty and bedraggled (long hair and beard), indicating that he had been in hiding? I think what we get from this is that we are definitely missing some part of Sayid's backstory. Anyone have any thoughts/insight into this?

Nope...the film contained the audio. I too thought that Locke would just run the new tape section on its own, but I guess his thinking was that he wanted to see it in the proper context of the rest of the film.

Sawyer was definitely channelling Wayne...too much of a coincidence then for him to ask Kate "Why did you kill me?" Notice Sawyer coming out of his stupor once she answered Wayne's question. Then they see the horse, with her confronting the horse, and it her, and there then being some kind of reconciliation.
