I watched the Jets game. Generally a sloppy game in which the defenses outplayed the offenses. Neither team looked as good as the media is making them out to be.

I was surprised by Guzman being waived as I know he impressed the coaching staff last year, both on special teams and by being able to switch to DE. I hope he gets picked up by someone soon.

That very well may be true...but the positive impact all this has on their ability to recruit better and better players makes is worth it for sure. Plus its just nice having them win once in a while and get some respect.

And why does no one in this thread have a problem with the fact that we were so bad that they could torch us like they did. I was disgusted that we allowed the Patriots to crush us like they did...I wasn't upset at Pats for doing it. And I remember being at a lot of Bills - Jets games where Jim would air it out at will and run up a very comfortable score. The bottom line...had we played better that night, Brady wouldn't have had anything to talk about.

At a minimum, this story is perfect for pick up by the national media. ESPN should do a piece on it, at a mimimum (though since it involves something to do with Buffalo, they'll likely figure out a way to put a negative spin on it ).

On a related note, I was pumped earlier in the year when it was announced that the team would be playing a game (at home no less) on ESPN2 this year. Unfortunately, that game falls on election day. I wonder how many people are actually going to be watching the game with all that drama that will be going on on all the other networks.
