  1. I still can't get past the fact that I was able to watch my very own University at Buffalo Bulls play (and WIN!) on national television. And how ironic is it that Willy passes Marty Barrett's TD record...Barrett was QB my freshman year and I remember so clearly being at the Main Street field (and sitting on very old and worn wooden bleachers) and seeing UB beat Baldwin Wallace on what I believe was a last minute TD pass. There was a pretty good crowd there that day (maybe around 1,000) and the place went nuts. After that, things went pretty much down hill for the program. What a great thing it is for the school to have this program doing so well. Just did a little searching...September 17, 1983...UB 29 Baldwin Wallace 28. That team went on to be 8-2 that year.
  2. I'm very pumped to see a record crowd going sick on national television tonight!
  3. Dude...best of luck to you in getting back in the saddle. I work for that big insurance company that everyone loves so much these days, and I'm not sitting here all that comfortably myself (and no...Duey did not go on the spa or fox hunting outings!). Hang in there...better days lie ahead.
  4. Looks good Scott...nice work.
  5. All of this is so great...makes me wish I was going there now rather than 20 years ago. Those were the days where they had giveaways for the first 1,000 fans...and they ended up with 500 left over.
  6. Goose bumps! MAJOR friggin' goose bumps!!! Some serious shite is going to go down this season...whenever the hell is decides to start!
  7. Nice parenting job...and good job by the folks at the gun show cancelling the "Babys and Beretta's" exhibition shortly thereafter. Honestly...what is the point of taking a kid to a gun show? Children are losing their innocence so early as it is these days. What was there to gain by having this kid at the show, and then to have him shoot. I just don't get it. Why?
  8. Scott...I hearby nominate this tread to the TBD Hall of Fame. Rarely in one place have so many astute observations and classic one-liners been uttered. Tammy Turnbull, of East Aurora, left the game around halftime, after her husband, James, had his socks and shoes soaked with urine in a pitch-black men’s room. “We didn’t feel safe,” Tammy Turnbull said. So many questions...who wanted to leave after the soaking incident, Tammy or James? And if James was the victim, why the heck is Tammy doing all the talking? Has James been so traumatized by the incident that he's been rendered speechless, or is he too busy wringing the piss out of his socks? And lastly, why is this Tammy the only person who complained? She sure does have a lot of bad things to say about our Bills. And what of the reports of Tammy and James walking around before the game with a big bunch of mylar-coated balloons, only to have them "accidentally" released when James was startled by a small dog peeing on his leg (trouble seems to follow this man everywhere).
  9. UB product Ramon Guzman was released by the Colts late in camp and was always a strong player on special teams. I don't believe he's been picked up by anyone else...wouldn't be a bad pickup at all.
  10. Giants 101?!?!?! AHAHAHAHAHAHA
  11. I'm sensing the approach of a TBD-crashing afternoon!
  12. Oh my...is this a beautiful thing or what?!
  13. HA! I did the same thing. You read that article and almost naturally assume that Hamdan is the #2, not the #3.
  14. I think he should grow a beard...
  15. You might be the only one who is. Can I come work for you?
  16. And for those not as in the know as EZC... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Felching I was going to cut and paste, but then thought better of it. Another great lunch time read.
  17. Nice lunch time read.
  18. I'm interested in learning what you have this guy for.
  19. This is getting out of hand. On at least three or four occassions, ESPN cut to a commerical seconds after a play was dead and pretty before the announcers had finished their thoughts. Really jamming in every commerical possible.
  20. AHHH! Now I won't be able to sleep tonight!
  21. I'm glad like hell that he's on the sideline growing a beard instead of throwing picks and getting sacked, but a part of me does feel just a little bad for him...beard and all.
  22. Why would Arizona be pissed off when their D played like crap and Warner fumbled/picked the game away from them? Sure, the Jets showed no class in going for the TD and two point conversion late, but I think they Cards should be more shell-shocked at home badly they were steam rolled by a mediocre Jets team. Yes, this will be a tough game for the Bills, but as they shown the last two weeks, each game can be tough. Heavy pressure on Warner is going to be the key for us in winning this game...that and establishing the run.
  23. I watched the entire game via this link and it was great. Thanks! And I do intend to donate as well.
