It must be nice have meaningful games in December. I really like the quote from Edwards saying the Bills will be enjoying their role as potential spoilers. How about a quote saying that everyone on the team is disgusted about missing the playoffs again...period. Don't find me a silver lining is the same old December bull sh--. You, as a team, had a chance to get back to the playoffs and you, as a team, have blown that chance. I don't want to hear anything about acting as a spoiler, or building for next year.

About an hour northwest of NYC, we're getting 2 - 4 inches more on top of the 10 inches we got on Friday (that's more snow in one day than we had all last winter). I love it!

I watched the UConn - Pitt game the other day and the Huskies looked terrible. I don't expect them to play that badly against us, but I agree with a previous post that this will be a good game that I think UB should win.

I like how adament Lou Holtz was that "there is no way" that Ball State loses to Buffalo, and how he made pretty much the same statement about ECU's chances against big, bad Tulsa.

I have no reason to say this other than I just have a feeling, but I don't think that he'll go to Auburn.

Saw on Rivals.com this morning that they are projecting UB's opponent to be...Arkansas State. I'm actually hoping for a non-Big East match up.

Most "experts" are saying the will play UConn, though Rutgers is also a possibility.

Even though we scored those two return TD's, I was nervous as hell that Ball State would really be able to roll on us given that the D had been on the field for the entire third quarter. I was so impressed how the D didn't cave at all...they hung tough through that stretch, and then seemed to played even harder when they had to in the end. Amazing!

Thanks for the humble (for the most part) post. All this talk all week of whether "unbeaten" Ball State should go play Boise State was such a dis against UB. You, your team, and the country all looked past this game. As they say, when two teams take the field, either team can win. And tonight, the team that was better prepared, better coached, and wanted it more...won. Congrats on a great season lv. But we're pretty happy over here at UB right now...and we have a hell of a lot to be proud of. UB

I am a VERY VERY happy and proud UB alum. We won because we were clearly the better team on the field tonight...and we won with class. Congrats to the team and to a great coach and a wonderfully classy man...thank you Coach Gill.

I'm a big fan of Eli Stone and I was bummed to see that it's future looks pretty bleak.

I was a complete mess in high school and college...shy and clueless. Looking back, there opportunities were there...just not the balls.

And that's been the problem all year...it's not that the offense can't score points...it's that the D can't stop anyone, and hasn't all year. I think we have to hope for an EMU/CMU-type game and hope that we get the ball last.

It's all about the holiday spirit...and $10 off on a Wii.
