  1. Great team effort! And PTR for the video feed link!
  2. So far so good. The Bulls are running a nice balanced attack. Let's see the D come up with another three and out on this drive.
  3. I really is true. He looks scared, confused and can't wait to get rid of the ball (or get sacked trying).
  4. We are being out gained 5 to 1. 56 yards.
  5. I would imagine he'd have a warmer welcome if he were signing autographs down here in the NYC area. And I bet he could charge $20 a pop too.
  6. What a shame, both for him and them. At least from a pro career standpoint this shouldn't hurt him (well, he'll get drafted later because he won't have a senior season). I'm so disappointed. This changes the whole dynamic of this team.
  7. Amen. Words to live by.
  8. My impression of the UFL is that it would be more of a B-level league where NFL cast-offs (i.e. JP) could try to prove themselves and get another shot at the NFL. In that regard, it could really replace the Arena league.
  9. Holy crap. Maybe they should have been inside by that point?! Damn that looks forboding.
  10. I watched it all the way through last night...just once. I'm still sick over it today. But it really does (I hope) drive home such an important message. One has to believe it was inspired by what happened to those girls outside of Rochester a few years ago.
  11. I'm starting to wonder if this guy has competing and conflicting split-personalities.
  12. If anyone has teens who drive, you may want to sit them down and have them watch this. Not for the faint of heart, it's a PSA from England I believe. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=323_1250531763
  13. The picture of TO holding the flowers is friggin hysterical. I'm sure he's had to deal with worse fans in his other cities.
  14. It's Bills-related for obvious reasons...enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZkgRwpkh7c...feature=related
  15. Easy there big fella...it's not like I said he was Beethoven.
  16. Maybe these guys were shamed out of camp by the Fin's new fight song (see other tread).
  17. WTF was that?! I like T-Pain, but jeez, that was pretty pathetic. It sounds like something the kids sing at camp. And who has a friggin' fight song anyway? I wouldn't call Shout a fight song....and even if it were, it's cooler than that crap.
  18. So I went to the morning session of Jet's camp yesterday. Was up in Ithaca with the wife in kids and ended up staying at a hotel right across the street from SUNY Cortland. Now, I've never had the good fortune of going to Bills camp, so I don't know what that's like first hand, but from what I read the crowds are lively and enthusiastic. I could not believe how lame the crowd was at Jet's camp. There were probably between 200 to 300 people in the stands for the practice session. A lot of them were wearing Jets attire, but the shocking thing to me was how quiet the crowd was. You could hear the snap counts, coaches yelling at players, players yelling at each other and even players laughing and joking around. The crowd largely sat quietly during all the drills. If a particularly good play was made, a few people ooh'd and aah'd and clapped, but that was it. There was absolutely no life to the crowd...they could have been watching a tennis match is was so quiet. And I overheard a lot of people saying how they had made the trip from downstate, so it wasn't because people were locals and didn't know how to react. After the training session was over, a line of "VIP fans" was allowed to approach the field and a few of the Jets "stars" signed autographs. I saw Mark Sanchez, Kellen Clemens, Dustin Keller and Jerricho Cotchery signing for these fans. Once the VIP fans signings were done, these guys trotted off the field without evening waving at the fans in the stands who were yelling their names. The ordinary fans got so-to-be Turk victims WRs Paul Raymond, Marcus Henry and Huey Whittaker (yes...THAT Huey Whittaker). These guys were friendly and very accomodating, but the fans were pretty bummed that "no one big" came by. Again, this sounds like it's in stark contast to how things usually go at Bills camp. And as an aside...Clemens totally outplayed Sanchez. Sanchez looked a bit lost, over-throwing many recievers and tossing one bad pick that was run back for six. One play was whistled dead because Sanchez was "sacked" and he started yelling at the ref and coaches that it wasn't a sack. Yes...it was so quiet that I could hear it all...including a number of F bombs. LOL So that's my report, for what it's worth.
  19. Mort's really going to hate us now. LOL
  20. HEY!
