Wow...that's nasty. Originally, that game was scheduled for today. Oh well, I knew it was a down year for the UB women. The men have all five starters back from last year. That team last year really came together mid-season. I'm pretty excited for them this year.

What a great example of two schools getting together to make something unique. Today, UB football, and mens and womens basketball all play at UConn. Football: UConn is favored by 25(!!) over UB. Little chance of an upset here, but who knows. Womens Basketball: What looks like a down year for the UB squad versus the NCAA womens defending champs. I can offer nothing else about this game. Mens Basketball: The preseason choice for MAC champ versus the defending NCAA mens champs. #7 UConn favored by 16 1/2. Hey, if Santa Clara can beat NC, why not UB over UConn. Of the three games today, the best chance for a UB win (IMHO) UConn undoubtedly scheduled UB as part of their soft schedules, but for UB, a good opportunity for some national exposure (provided, of course, that they can keep things respectable. GO BULLS!

OK...I'm in too. 5' 9", 200 lbs. Just started running again today. Would like to drop 20. And yeah...this is a REALLY tough week to start trying to lose weight. Good luck all!

Hey Ice... :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: You are, without a doubt, the biggest POS on this board. While my approach was serious, there was the occassional hint of sarcasm in there which you obviously missed. You can take your halfass, stevestojan thoughts and shove them up your ass. You recent absence from this board was truly a blessing. I am not alone in being idisappointed in your return. You bring nothing to this board...nothing except negativity and classlessness.

I think MM feels that he had to start Drew this weekend becuase, though its a bunch of BS from our standpoint, he feels that Drew was in a tough spot last Sunday (playing in NE), and that he deserves one more chance in the "friendly" confines of the Ralph. MM wouldn't start JP after throwing him to the wolves last Sunday night, but you can bet (and please provide input on this if available) that JP will have gotten many more reps with the starters this week in practice. Drew will be on a short string this Sunday. If we go into halftime down, with Drew having played poorly, I would bet that JP will start the second half. If this does indeed occur, JP will then be starting the following week in Miami. This whole scenario makes the most sense to me, but what the hell do I know?

I think Hofner will be there next year. Who else are they going to get? It amazing that any UB program is getting national recognition. It's nice to see that the basketball team is looked at as up and coming.
