  1. Watch on Saturday...they're showing the first two episodes. And maybe Hurley has been jonesing most of that boar they killed.
  2. The realization that Charlie brought to Claire's attention last week was that since the psychic was so concerned that she, and no one else, take care of the baby, he made sure she was on that plane, fully aware of what was going to happen. Now, could her kidnapping by "Ethan" be evil at work, trying to take her "special" baby from her? Hmmmm.
  3. It was actually $20,000, but I do agree with you. Hurley made a comment the week before, I think, about his being famous, or something like that.
  4. Funny...my wife and I were talking about the same things the other night. In fact, they're all looking pretty good. Remember, though, at this point in the show they have only been on the island for about a week (this point was brought up in last weeks show). Seems longer, but that's all its been. And without a doubt, this show is the fastest hour on TV! I am always very disappointed when each episode is over.
  5. There certainly does seem to be a lot of that "self-fulfilling prophecy stuffing going on, though I'm not sure that's how they got there. I think it might be more that they were all destined to make that trip. Remember this too, for everyone who we know a lot about, some pretty significant events let to their being on that flight. And don't forget, that psychic directed Claire onto that flight because he knew it would Rosen. ACtually, Claire and Charlie touched on this concept last week.
  6. Ooh...now that's interesting. Of interest to me is what the hell was that "thing" Locke encountered? Do you guys remember that episode? He was in the jungle by himself, he heard all this movement and crashing about, and all of a sudden he's looking up at something much larger than him. Was it another bear, standing on its hind legs? Hmmmm...whatever it was, he referenced it in the next episode by saying something like, "I've seen into the heart of the island," or something like that.
  7. I agree, and there seems to be something very familiar about this. Does anyone remember maybe a Twilight Zone episode that worked this way? The ones I'm thinking of only ended badly, though.
  8. I love this freaking show! I agree, it keeps getting better and better. I was stunned beyond words with what happened to Charlie...I couldn't believe he had died. When Jack gave up on him, my wife and I were totally shocked. A little of the islands magic brought him back, me thinks. How awesome is Locke? This guy kicks ass! I am still going to stick with my theory that the island is in another/parallel dimension. I think there is some serious mojo working here that thrives on the troubles of the castaways, and that even if someone is a sh--, they can be made to see the light. This is my theory on Sajid and Sawyer. Each had a very very dark past, were brought together by the island and brought to a confrontation, and now almost seem to have developed a respect for one another. I will def watch the first two episodes this weekend. I think its pretty cool that they're being reaired for the main purpose of giving people a chance to look for clues. This show is not only immensly entertaining, but promotes almost as much discussion as the "Bledsoe sucks" topic. B)
  9. What the hell is that all about?!?!? Maybe Garcia was so confused that he didn't know he should stand up.
  10. Just that he has to continually poop in everyones Fruit Loops.
  11. Nice article. Always nice to get good press.
  12. Jeez...when you put it like that, who could argue.
  13. Three weeks from today I'll be seeing TSO at Madison Square Garden in New York. After years of playing the Beacon Theatre, they hit the big stage at the Garden. I hope they pull out all the stops for this one!
  14. I agree...worth saying twice!
  15. Seem's like we're making a habit of pissing Tuna off. Along with slowly screwing up his draft plans for 2005, don't forget this little nugget. I heard Mike Francesca on WFAN in NY say last year that Tuna was counting on picking Willis in the 2nd round. Apparently, Tuna blew a gasket when we snagged him...something along the lines of "WTF are the Bills doing?!?!? They have Henry. WTF are they doing picking Willis?!?!"
  16. Doesn't it always feel so damned good to beat the Fish? Well, DOESN"T IT?!?! My signature once read..."If the Bills went 2-14, and those two wins were against the Dolphins, I would indeed be a happy man."
  17. Yeah, me too. Which, in Ice's eyes, means we're morons.
  18. Thanks for pointing out the obvious. Its a shame that you can't enjoy creating 7 turnovers, a kickoff return for a TD, a defensive return for a TD, sweeping the Phins, winning while not relying entirely on Willis, seeing Evans get two sweet TDs, having Drew go for 4 TDs and no picks, and having this team go 6-2 in its last eight after starting 0-4. Its a shame that you'd be feeling better if this team were playing as it did when it was 0-4. You consider yourself the most objective Bills fan on this board...and apparently the only who truely knowns whats best for this team. Well Ice, you have little to no company on your bandwagon of doom. Please continue your compaign of negativity as the rest of us enjoy of the rebirth of this team, and the return of the Buffalo Bills to league-wide respectability.
  19. Today was a classic let-down game. Beating teams we were expected to struggle against, and then visiting a team we should dominate. It showed as we struggled early, but it was nice to see everyone contribute in getting the win. A couple of thoughts on today: We might have the most exciting crop of rooks in the league...Willis, Evans, Mcgee, and yes, even Euhus. This team has become solid on both sides of the ball. The defense was expected to be strong, but its nice to see the turnovers coming (finally!). On offense, after an expected settling in period, the offense has become versatile and strong. A credit to the coaching staff and the growing maturity of the players. Does anyone feel like this team now believes it can win ANY game? Seeing how they've played in tough spots the last three weeks has shown me that this is no longer "the same old Bills." This team believes in itself and in its coaching staff. Only good things can come of this. And lastly...I want to give a major tip of my cap to Drew Bledsoe. His play has mirrored that of the rest of the team, and now, as the personality of this team is coming together, he has stepped up and shaken off his poor play and his critics to becoming the leader and performer we hoped he would be. If he continues to play like this the rest of the year, Drew should be the starting QB in 2005. Let JP learn on the bench. He can only benefit from being brought along slowly. Running the tables becomes a more and more realistic hope with each passing week. Will we make the playoffs? Not likely. Can we finish the season as one of the most impressive teams in the league? Without a doubt. Go Bills! We're happy to talkin' proud once more, and thanks for making me once again want to SHOUT!!!

  21. Right...and tomorrow, when he interviews Brett Favre, Green Bay will be the best football town in the NFL.
  22. Why am I always the one who has to offer up this gem? Harry Colon, Philadelphia Eagles
  23. Right now it looks like the Cowpokes will be getting an upper teens/low 20's pick from us...I can live with that.
  24. I was happy with TD then too. He's not perfect, but he's looking a little better now.
