  4. Not sure if anyone noticed it or has mentioned it...It looked like TO did question DJ's decision to punt on 4th and one...DJ said something back to him and walked away, again without any emotion...WOW.
  5. surprisingly at a psychiatric clinic at U of M....no, we weren't patients. She was a receptionist there working her way through college and I was doing research there.
  6. you could have a "hot or not" segment...could be entertaining and informative.
  7. you could get the "girl" from the Dilemma thread on Off the Wall...she appears to be very popular with the fellas around here.
  8. Love the Reader Comments, this one was especially poignant: Ok people are you serious? I am so surprised that ANYONE is supporting this dumba**. And Jessica, do you have any pride at all? This is NOT the first time you cheated on him and you and I know cuz I know you I will be surprised if he ever speaks to you again and if so hes just as stupid and trashy. We are all telling him. He made so much fun of you I cant believe you would even show your face around any of us. So what you did it now your crying cuz walmart is a big place and its been spreading it around where your mom works? Boo Hoo Y-O-U C-H-E-A-T-E-D you can stand outside looking like someone out of a trailer park in mismatched clothes with a sign YOU HUMILIATED YOURSELF AND YOUR MOTHER BY BEING SO STUPID Now everyone knows your a hoe that cant keep your legs closed. I feel sorry for your mother. Cuz people are talking about her behind your back and your mom is really nice. Couple Sl*ts for daughters but still nice. She didnt deserve to be humilited. Bad enough your sister nicole didnt know who her babys father was untill a month ago.. then again dogs run in packs. "
  9. Don Banks just wrote an article about this very phenomena.... http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writ...x.html?bcnn=yes
  10. Section 3. Salary: Minimum salary for a practice squad player shall be $4,700 per week for the 2006-07 League Years, $5,200 per week for the 2008-10 League Years and the 2011 League Year if it is an Uncapped Year, and $5,700 per week for the 2011 League Year if it is a Capped Year and the 2012 League Year, including postseason weeks in which his Club is in the playoffs.
  11. "a player under contract to a club as a Practice Squad player is completely free to sign a contract with another NFL club during the season in order to be on the second club's Active/Inactive (i.e., 53 man) list. A practice squad player may not sign an NFL Player Contract with his Club's next opponent later than 4:00 p.m., New York time, on the sixth day preceding the game (except in bye weeks, when the prohibition commences on the tenth day preceding the game). If another club signs a Practice Squad player to its 53 man roster it does not have to provide any sort of compensation to the player's former club but it generally must keep the player on the 53 man roster for at least 3 weeks."
  12. google is your friend...this is what I found: any team may claim a team's PS player on waivers at any given time during the season -- the only stipulation to this is that the team signing the PS player must immediately add that player to its 53-man roster.
  13. can't be, he's not a washed up, injured, vet that everyone's heard of and we'd pay a ton of money to just to cut him next year.
  14. maybe he got yet another contract extension from Ralph.
  15. I was worried about that too...I thought he got shoved into him.
  16. my son said "are you feeling good, we're up by 11"? I said "kinda". He replied "I think we need to be up by at least 14, then I could feel good". How prophetic....that bastard.
  17. I couldn't agree more. Honestly, I couldn't believe that the team was as horrible as the preseason would have indicated, so I went into the season with an open mind. Sure I was disaapointed, but this team is young and they are going to be much better over the course of the season. FWIW...I've had several people comment to me today that the Bills "looked pretty darn good" last night and "should have beaten the Pats"...some of these people were Pats fans! I had a huge Steeelers fan say he couldn't sleep last night because the Bills should have won. We garnered some respect last night people...what else could have been a better outcome from a MNF loss?
