  1. 1. Interesting insight...did he call people names at the tailgate? 2. I'm not that easily manipulated, am I?....and remember we are only human.

  3. Thanks gents! We can't bust heads like we used to. But we have our ways. One trick is to tell stories that don't go anywhere. Like the time I caught the ferry to Shelbyville. I needed a new heel for m'shoe. So I decided to go to Morganville, which is what they called Shelbyville in those days. So I tied an onion to my belt. Which was the style at the time. Now, to take the ferry cost a nickel, and in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebeeson 'em. Gimme five bees for a quarter, you'd say. Now where was I... oh yeah! The important thing was that I had an onion tied to my belt, which was the style at the time. You couldn't get white onions, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones......I go into comas all the... zzzzz... French toast, please.
  4. We've had this machine for going on 3 years....not one single problem. The electric start is great!
  5. Bro pull down the tab that says "Physicians"...Look at the first name...wow. I did read the article, it was describing various approaches and compared to what they do...my interest was in the outcome not the procedures. So your thesis is no surgery is better than surgery? ok, that's your opinion. It's wrong, but it's yours.
  6. Okay, I'll play along...first of all it is THE Dr. Andrews, did you bother to confirm your assertion by reading the bio provided in the link? Second of all Professor...if that is not enough to refute your ridiculous assertions, here is a link to a peer reviewed article from one of our nations best medical centers that examined the procedure and outcomes for sports hernia repair....https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3069511/ "Of the athletes who underwent surgery, 98% have returned to competition. All patients are followed until they return to the sport at preinjury status, which will take from 3 to 6 months."
  7. Okay Dr Andrews... http://www.andrewssportsmedicine.com/getortho.php?name=Sports_Hernia_Surgery
  8. Well hell...I just saw the Michigan QB broke his collarbone near the end of the game...out for the season.
  9. Here's a timely article about a head to head comparison study between cannabis and oxycodone. http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/a-new-test-of-pots-potential-to-replace-painkillers/ar-AAk7Na1?li=BBnbcA1
  10. Here's a good read on Peppers: Like the Honey Badger? http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000710841/article/dare-to-compare-nfl-comp-for-michigan-lbdb-jabrill-peppers
  11. whoa whoa whoa...not exactly. "Marijuana remains a Schedule II drug under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act, and, unless otherwise regulated for production and distribution for medical purposes, is subject to offences under that Act. Possessing and selling marijuana for non-medical purposes is still illegal everywhere in Canada."
  12. While you correct about cocaine, the psychedelic properties of LSD were not discovered until well after Freud's death....perhaps you were thinking of Timothy Leary. But here's an interesting list of other burnouts like Freud: http://www.famousscientists.org/14-famous-scientists-inventors-who-experimented-with-drugs/
  13. Geez I hope we beat out the Browns and Ravens this Thursday...
  14. They must be the only members of the media that have that opinion.
  15. No argument from me about any of that. My point being he had a rep as a choke artist or overrated...Detroit was patient and now it looks as if it's paying off. Good for them.
  16. You have to be patient wait 7 years for him to show up...that's what Detroit did.
