I knew this dude who was a huge Pats fan....wearing jerseys, talking **** about the Bills all the time....normally I'd just ignore him, but he did it this one time in front of a few friends and I just turned and asked him...can you name one...just one, of your offensive linemen....uh....ah....he couldn't do it. I rattled off 4 of them. He didn't talk too much **** in front of me again. I was satisfied.

I always say I want to keep my bill as low as possible, been a customer for x years what kind of discounts can you give me? This year since all my stuff was expiring ($60 off per month) I told her would like that and btw last year you gave me Sunday Ticket for free...can you come close to that deal? That was it. Yep....great job! I like it that she specifically told me no contract...this is just a loyalty reward....amazing!

Maybe that's why I got the deal I did...

I called today...at the recording I asked for customer loyalty, after a 10 minute hold I got someone overseas. I knew it was not going to go well right then. So I played the game, told him I had discounts that were expiring this month, $60 off a month and last year I had the Ticket for free, I wanted to know if they could match or come close to that. After several long pauses and being told he's checking, he told me "sorry we have no offers of any kind for you". I said "okay, can you transfer me to customer loyalty?" He said "sure I'd be happy to do that"...I was transferred and placed on hold. Got connected to a very nice young woman in Texas...said the same thing to her...she asked me who my team was and I said "The Bills of course!". She said "I think my mom likes them too!" She then proceeded in an extended conversation about her favorite team (Eagles) and her Dad's and her husband's, etc....we had a long conversation...then she said "I have authorized a $60 discount per month for 12 months and free Sunday ticket as a loyalty reward!" I was thrilled! She asked if I had any other questions....I thought to myself..."why not?" so I asked about any movie channels and she said "sure...HBO free for 6 months.". This was better than last year! I'm not sure why I got this and others don't....but it's just a lesson in being persistent and pleasant...

Looks like the Parkland shooter was special needs and was denied... "But Mr. Cruz was legally an adult, and he wanted to graduate from Stoneman Douglas, according to a new report released late Friday by the Broward County Public Schools. A Cross Creek staffer gave him three options: transfer to the school, sue the school district, or stay at Stoneman Douglas — without any of the special-needs assistance he had relied on since he’d been found to be developmentally delayed at age 3. The options, the school district’s new report found, were insufficient: Mr. Cruz by law and district policy should have been able to remain at Stoneman Douglas with special-needs protections. He didn’t know that but chose to stay anyway, no longer receiving any help or accommodations. It was Nov. 3, 2016." Who can name this cartoon? Used to be one of my favorites...only lasted one season, but I loved it. I saw there were remakes decades later, the original was in 1964. -

Yep...it's a "warning". Time to make the call!

That has happened to me in the past, and I still ended up getting it free or discounted. Call back in a week or so and see. Did you talk to someone in retention?
