So I made the dreaded yearly DTV call after reading this thread - God I hate this task....

No deals on Sunday Ticket (shocker!). They did give me $70/month for 12 months and a 1-time $100 Sunday Ticket credit so I got $940 in credits and paid $395 for Sunday Ticket - in the end I got ST for free and $545 in credits so I guess I'm OK - really hope the last time I have to do this BS...

For the second year in a row I don't have to pay and I get ST Max....just got an email from DTV on Tuesday....pretty excited to not have to haggle!!!

I’m not saying this was fentanyl, but somewhere I have a photo of how much it takes to kill you. It’s little more than a speck.  The damage it’s doing to our society, and our families, is horrific.

  3. Yep...matter of fact I was just talking to my wife about this yesterday....as some around here know, I lost my son Feb 3 2017...such an amazing kid!!  We'd talk Bills all the time.  Some old timers around here met him several times in the late 90's, early 2000's.  My general reaction to the Bills now is much more subdued, but still very happy and proud.  Watching games is not the same without him...I have to say this team as a whole is what he always wanted us to be.   He never got to see Allen, Diggs now Sanders do what he loved..."go DEEP"!  So I sit and watch the Bills and my thoughts drift to Danny...so yes...this is great, but it is and probably always will be, bittersweet.

Can the folks that got the email or a letter (really? snail mail?) are you AT&T cell customers as well?  In the past, it seemed like AT&T cell phone customers have been getting the deals ahead of those, like me (Verizon), who aren't.

I've been with DTV over 20 years and while I got ST last year for free, I've never gotten an email or a letter...I've always had to haggle every year like I'm buying a used car.

I have ATT wireless and this is the first time I've gotten ST for free without haggling, I've always had to haggle and got anything from free (last year) to at worst half price.

I didn't believe it until I saw it, because every year I have to call and threaten to cancel, but this year they are just handing it out for free like candy on Halloween! (I imagine it has everything to do with how much the package you subscribe to is, and what discounts are active or not on your monthly bill. This is the e-mail I got today.

Got the same email a few hours ago...I'm very happy and relieved!!!

We went through this same thing last year.  It was free Sunday Ticket Max but you still had to pay for Sunday Ticket.
