I've talked to people in traditionally low tax, conservative areas (in particular Texas and carolinas) where many of the native type people are getting mad that people are specifically moving to or retiring to from the notheast. The problem is the people moving specifically choose those states for their lower taxes and cost of living. Then they fail to realize the reason WHY they have lower taxes and then begin attempting to bring their typical liberal/union attitudes to these new areas and want everyone to believe how they believe. Except they fail to see the irony in their behavior and decisions....

So....to summarize people are leaving highly taxed areas for lower taxes areas. And of course throw in the token shot at DC continuing to grow under our bloated federal government as the exception. Who would have guessed.....

That's cool, they can have their entitled career politicians and political class with their watered down socialism. Good for them. That's their dream, not mine.

There are all sorts of very suspicious activities and law enforcement bulletins and warnings. It seems that there are multiple occurrences of potential terrorists probing and attempting entrance along the southern border (in sure some have snuck across) In addition to very weird events, there have been middle eastern young men buying up massive amounts of pre paid cell phones in missouri, random explosions and bombs in forests in missouri, a group of Muslim men from NY were arrested in NC for stealing hundreds of plumbing supplies (pipes etc...) from a lowes, many industrial sized propane tanks stolen in the Philadelphia area etc.... Lots of not good stuff going on Edit and also middle eastern Muslim men rented a boat to get closer to a hydroelectric dam at a missouri reservoir for no apparent legitimate purpose.

Agreed. I said earlier he has potential to be a better drury/peca and go down as an all time fan favorite, the way he plays will be genuinely beloved by sabres fans. Of this guy plays like this and continues improving for the next decade he will be a hero. He is thriving with top line responsibilities that he is getting here that he wasn't in Colorado. Wtf was Colorado thinking giving him up. He is a guy you lock up for a decade. Edit- I think his hometown is just outside London Ontario just a couple hours away. Hopefully he is enjoying it here and wants to stay for a really long time. Does Colorado have any more trades they are willing to make? I hear they have these guys landeskog and MacKinnon.....

I agree. The nhl actually has to consistently call the rules they already have! I hate the obstruction and grabbing and in general just doing everything possible to take the life out of the game, hide the skill and glorify a third line grinders importance.

I think this is a pretty good analysis. I would even go as far to say tanking last year was a big draw for many. There was so much anticipation for the future and mceichel that people wanted to go and watch is lose to get 1 game closer to the future. Now that we have eichel that day to day drama is over like the anticipation of getting that awesome Christmas gift is almost better than getting it. Now that we have it Its cool but not the day to day excitement and drama. The team is also still near the bottom in the standings and generally the league isn't very exciting with goal scoring down. I think once the team starts to find their way and continually improved the fans will all hop back aboard and I can hope the excitement reaches 05-06 again. That would be awesome. I kinda feel like next year will be like 05-06 all over again. I hope I'm right.
