seriously? why don't you just blame Bush still isnt that a better argument? afterall The "teaparty" congress elected in November of 2010 has been in office 8 months, and the "tea party" controls less than half of congress which is 1/3 of the government. The Obama and democrat/Reid controlled senate and until this year Pelosi controlled house had YEARS to trainwreck the economy and still control 66% of the government. who's fault is it again? The tea party couldnt even get a balanced budget ammendment passed (as an example of how little control they have at this point to create legislation that will promote a more job creation friendly climate because government CANNOT create jobs. unless it is growning government jobs themselves.

Your right the unions in charge of providing public services who are funded by taxpayers should be able to hold taxpayers hostage making them pay wages, benefits, retirements that far exceed private sector counterparts which lead to bankrupting municipalities and high taxes for the people who are stuck footing the bill. But hey its just politics and in the name of fairness right?!? But it's mildly encouraging that even with all the democrats fear mongering and scare tactics about feeding grandma dogfood and then wheeling her out to the curb were largely ignored for common sense solutions and reigning in out of control budgets and unsustainable spending. Yes those 8 tea party republicans in congress were solely responsible for the downgrade...lol. They are the only party offering a SERIOUS SOLUTION

This is the first reporting I've heard of this story. If it was a white mob attacking a minority group. Say Muslims blacks or Mexicans it would be all over main stream media described ad a vicious hate crime . Why doesn't this story have the same outcry ? Shouldn't racial violence against any race or ethnic group warrant the same response ? Where is Al Sharpton for this ? Bueller ....?

The DC career insiders are so out of touch with reality that people telling them "NO." is akin to terrorism. good God were really screwed. yes those evil racist tea party folks running up the defecit and implementing restrictive regulations. The tea party is the only major party in washington that really cares about America. they are not be-holden to special interests but vote based on their personal convictions for what is best for the country. making the tough but correct decisions is more important to them than becoming a career politican who will mortgage the future of this country to secure votes now and "bring home the bacon"

As a percentage of GDP, social entitlement programs have expanded much faster than defense spending since 1965. Now social entitlements account for twice the spending as ALL of national defense. My favorite conference is without a doubt the SEC. It just looks right. Even the whole game day atmosphere looks great on tv it looks like it should and the games are top notch. I'll watch most any game that I happen to catch on tv. Some other teams I like watching are Boise ST., Texas, occasionaly a PAC10 game, an occasional Penn St or Wisconsin too. Don't mind watching the ACC either. I think Boise ST is my single favorite team but I enjoy any SEC game.
