I don't know if this idea has been kicked around or not but I think it is very plausible. Is it possible that New England and Belicheat have had this plan all along? Did they plan on trying to steal a pick from the Raiders and get Seymore back? I think the plan was to make sure the Bills didn't game plan for him throwing a wrench into things for them on MNF. They are hoping because the paper work was filed by the Raiders before the physical ever happened that the trade is a done deal and somehow they steal a pick from the Raiders. (I know it's not legal and the Raiders would then own his rights but you now how the Pats* get away with stuff and the NFL may rule in their favor in some ridiculous way) Is this jackass just at it again trying to screw the system and make sure the Bills are ill prepared Monday night with their rookie O-line and Bell at LT? What is everyone elses thought because I feel like they are up to something and they knew Seyemore to the Raiders was never really going to happen.

I don't think it is gaming the system. They overcharge for normal service and they over charge for the NFLST. If they couldn't afford to give discounts then they wouldn't. They obviously know what is going on, Directv isn't stupid. If you can get a deal get a deal.

Eligible to return Week 4 at Miami Looks like Belicheat will list Brady every week again this year. I am guessing that all Pats will be healthy for Monday's start. Also looks like Welker will be suiting up for the Pats this week. For the Bills I believe Florence and Fine will out for the Bills.

Langston Walker released/Kirk Chambers re-signed
cmjoyce113 replied to Warren Zevon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Did anyone watch Walker against Detroit? He got beat every play he was in... this is not a loss at all. We will only benefit from having youth on the field. I guarentee cutting Chambers and keeping Walker on Saturday was a Schonert plan that AVP decided he didn't like. The problem for New England now is game planning for someone you don't have film of calling plays. It is not rocket science, he knows the plays in and out... now he just has to call them at the right time. Believe it or not since Last Thursday I feel like this team has gone from sucking to moving in the right direction. A few more moves and we will be all set. Walker was a bum... rewatch the first 10 offensive snaps against the Lions if you don't believe me. -
The Patriots traded two tight ends yesterday for picks in the 2011 draft as well Adam Schefter reported. At this point they will have 20 picks that year.
-
Last time I believe was last year. Studesville held the same role, it just wasn't publicized as much because the Bills didn't fire Schonert the week before the season.

How about how Jauron said "we didn't want to put Trent in that spot again tonight. We didn't prepare for Green Bay or Pittsburgh and that hurt him. We were in camp mode and weren't worried about preparing for those 2 games. This week we started preparing for New England and wanted to get the starters going on those looks. We just didn't want to put Trent in that position again." Doesn't this tell us that Jauron is handling the preseason the right way? I dont care how Edwards looked in his last 2 performances... I care about how he looks in 10 days. If he sucks on Monday night then fine I'll jump on that bandwagon but for now I am going to look forward to the start of the season.
-
Everyone jumping on the Maybin bandwagon better rewatch the game tonight. He is not a starter yet for a good reason... he makes some good plays but gets his ass kicked in others. For every good play he made there was 3 where he got stood up or strung down the line. I think he will be a beast in the NFL and on the Bills but it is going to take time... not 2 weeks. He really did struggle last night.
-
So you are saying the defense sucks and they don't bring it? I would say the complete opposite. If our GD offense gets our defense off the field occasionally I really think they have the talent and will to be a top 10 or even better defense. thats just my opinion of course. But I can't help but feel like the defense will "bring it."
-
Everyone is talking about what if the Bills go 2-14 then Ralph will have to blow it up... what if he wants to still give Jauron another year? It's always a possibility but I think we all know that he would be gone. It brings me to the real point however about Modrak and Brandon. Brandon has yet to hire an NFL Coach. Marv Levy hired Dick Jauron. I feel like people are naive to think Russ Brandon would be gone. I say he gets at least 2 shots at hiring a coach and at least 6 more years of being the teams GM like it or not. That is of course saying that Ralph is still the owner for those 6 years (probably unlikely). I see there being absolutly no shot at Russ Brandon getting canned if this team goes 0-16. What does everyone else think? Do you really think Brandon could get fired after this year?
-
So rather than rooting for the Bills to suceed and hoping for a great year from Jauron and hoping he turns it around you are going to root for them to win 2 games? That doesn't make much sense to me... you are right though we are all entitled to our own opinions.
-
I read negative post after negative post with a few positives mixed in. It really seems like some of the people on here are actually rooting for the Bills to suck so Jauron can be canned and we can start this whole thing over again. It seems like a lot of people are assuming the Bills are going to suck when isn't that what everyone felt about Miami last year? The Dolphins went 3-1 in the preseason last year... did everyone have them winning the Division? No... back then the preseason didn't mean shiiii... Now since the Bills are 0-3 its the end of the world. The Patriots went 0-4 last preseason yet they were still the favorite to maybe go undefeated again and win the Super Bowl. There fans were all like OH $@#@ we are going to go 4-12 and pick 2nd in the draft. If you truly are a Bills fan every year should bring new hope becuase you NEVER know what to expect. Every year 6 or so teams that made the playoffs the year before don't make it again. There is always that hope as a fan that your team might improve this year, or might get back to where they were last year. Keep being negative and say the Bills suck before the season it's fine, but why are you a Bills fan?

How many starters will play Thursday?
cmjoyce113 replied to LGB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am guessing that only the Offensive line will play and that will be for a short time. Knowing Dick Jauron he will suit everyone up and no starters will take the field. I will be shocked if any of the starting skill guys get snaps. I don't have the exact quote but Mitchell tweeted on Sunday that thank god the preseason was over now they can prepare for New England even though they still have Detroit. -
The problem is we don't have a true nose for a 3-4. Schobel isn't big enough to play DE in a 3-4 either. Stroud would actually be the one that would need to move out there and they have said that in the past. Warren Sapp actually played DE in Oakland in the 3-4 so that shows you we just dont have the personnel for it. I think it would be great if we played a 3-4 but we would have had to make that switch in March not now. The other thing is the pass rush would be worse not better with the team we have. Our safeties can't cover crossing patterns so that would keep us from blitzing thus causing the 3-4 to be ineffective. On another note...the D hasn't played bad seeing as how the offense has been on and off the field in 3 minutes or less every freakin drive. I don't blame them at all for our preseason performance.

How gay is his headset tonight? wow!

What are the #s for the Pats game??

Last I checked Pats by 10 and a half... betting it goes to 12 by seasons start depending on Brady's status. -
Patriots rolling over the Redskins
cmjoyce113 replied to Sisyphean Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I personally think NE looks like shiiiii on defense. It is 17-17 at half, starters on starters. Why do people post on TSW if they are going to be so negative? If you really think the Bills are going to suck that bad then why waste your time? I am sick of hearing about the a$$ kicking that hasn;t happened yet. I am sick of hearing about how our coaches suck and we need a real gm and all of that. Honestly give Brandon a shot, he is what just 2 years into the role? Get ready and pass judgement already thats a great idea. I only ever hear fans and local media say Jauron and the rest of the coaching staff sucks. Why is it that when the national media talks about him, or the players talk about him they have nothing but good things to say? I for one am being optimistic ab this upcoming season and we will see what happens. If we get our a$$ kicked on September 14th then we do but there is still 2 weeks till that day so I am not yet going to have that attitude. -
Bengals - not a good coaching staff
cmjoyce113 replied to Fewell733's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I played football in high school for a team that won 5 straight sectional titles and appeared in 4 state titles in 5 years winning 3 of them. The same line was said to me one time when I was out with a concussion... an assistant coach said "don't talk to me, I don't talk to the hurt guys." All in all it isn't meant to hurt anyones feelings. My coaches were the best and I have the most respect for them in the world. We wouldn't have won the games without our coaches so therefore this post doesn't make sense. You are right the Bengals coaching sucks but not because of the injury comment. -

Here Are Teams That MAY Need QBs Next Year
cmjoyce113 replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dolphins- they like Chad Henne and wont draft a qb 1st rd next year Browns - they have 2 high paid qb's right now and wont take one in the 1st Jags - they wont finish worse than the bills Broncos- tough to call, depends on how the chiefs and raiders are, they may finish better than the bills by default Chiefs- good with what they have in thigpen, croyle and big money guy cassell Redskins- probably a 7,8 or 9 win team so better than the bills Vikings- much better than the bills Panthers- supposedly delhomme has a few yrs left so they might not take qb that early Bucs- When will the revolving door stop at the QB Position? may pick before the Bills Rams - Might be better than last year but how much is the question... i would guess they would draft QB as well if high If the Bills are as bad as they could be they might have their pick of qb's. I think Tebow is going to cost a lot and teams may actually trade up to get him. He will be the most highly toughted #1 pick in years. If they don't get Tebow there could possibly be 3 other options in McCoy, Bradford and Clausen. -
Are there any current or former QB's on board?
cmjoyce113 replied to Simon's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I coached QB's at the freshman level, if you have particular questions shoot me a pm. -
"Fred Jackson has left the practice field early after suffering an injury on a run play. Jackson was holding his left hand on the way off the field. We’ll have an update after practice."
