Can't blame Jauron or coaching staff for this lost
cmjoyce113 replied to bluv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Last night came down to 1 play... McKelvin's fumble. If he hangs on to the ball the game is over. I don't care that he brought it out, I care that he fumbled 2 returns in a row. -
If McKelvin holds on to the ball we win the game. No question about that. If they can run that simple game plan I flat out don't care if we win. The offense and the Defense didn't lose that game last night. We knew Brady would make plays and you can't give him that many chances to make plays like we did last night. I don't blame that on the defense, that one is solely on McKelvin.

Do The Bills Sign A LB today?
cmjoyce113 replied to BillsGuyInMalta's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm not positive but isn't Palmer a MLB who is just getting over an injury? I feel like they were high on him early in the preseason until he got hurt in the Bears game. Not positive on this but it will be interesting. Is it possible to sign Brooks and slide Mitchell to Mike if its a season long injury for Poz? -
We didn't burn a timeout after the kick off... the Pats called that one. All in all I am disgusted with last night but I feel like we have a good shot of making things happen over the next couple of weeks.
-
How earlier in the day on TV does he say it is going to be a 30 or 40 point game and then because he is on Bills radio say it is going to be a close game? That makes him a dick.
-
Now he turned his tune when he is on 97 Rock. He says he thinks it will be a close game. He said he doesn't think the Pats will kill the Bills because of inexperience on Defense. He said there offense is great but too many unknowns of defense for them. Also backed of the Pats as his super bowl pick because of the Seymour trade. What a dick.
-
I wonder what that means about what kind of looks we are going to see toinight? Fine is going to be out so they must WANT 3 active Tight Ends tonight. Maybe we will go 3 Tight End sets for Schouman, Nelson and now Stupar. Also maybe they are thinking about getting some of the big guys spread out instead of using the midget Parish... This might create some real bad match up problems for New England.
-
I was actually thinking the same thing this morning. The line has been 10 1/2 11 for months now and didn't move in the last few weeks. For that reason I think there is even a little more hope for it to be a close game.

The 97 Rock pregame show starts at 3 today and can be heard on www.97rock.com. I know I am excited to hear someone other than the national media talk about tonights game. Maybe a slight bit of optimism from Chris Brown and Rich Genzler?
-
I really don't think losing a half hour of sleep is going to matter to these guys. I am sure none of them slept all that well last night regardless. I feel like this happened to the Bills at an away game last year to. I am going off of memory and could be wrong but I recall something like that I do believe. Not against N.E. but somewhere else.

Peter King Hinted That Bills Home Opener Could Be Blackout
cmjoyce113 replied to Rico's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yea I think it is complete bull shiiii that every single reporter (even the ones in Buffalo and Rochester) absolutely hate the Bills. I hope the Bills go 12-4 one of these years we have to see Sully and Leo Roth write positive articles. I really don't think they know how to do it. Not to mention the national media hates the Bills more than anyteam in the leauge. It is actually kind of ridiculous. -

I am pretty sure that it is sold out. I just went on ticketmaster and tried to buy two tickets anywhere. There were 0 available. Nice job Peter King and every other f-in national reporter who hates Buffalo. -
I myself am not a big bettor however I would take the under in tonights game. I really think our Defense will keep us in the game and the Pats defense will also keep us in the game. I see this one ending 21-17 or 23 20. I defintely do not set Brady to Moss happening 5 times tonight. We have a lot of speed on the field with McGee and McKelvin. McGee is healthy again this year and McKelvin has another year under his belt. We also did a good job creating turnover in the preseason and I think we will do that tonight. All in all I think it will be a good game and I think this will be much lower scoring than most people anticipate.
-
I think that the Bills D will keep us in this game. I also think that the Pats D will also keep us in the game. It should be interesting to see but I am holding hope and will do so right until either the game is over or we are getting killed. I really think even if we lose it will be within that 10 point spread.

Regardless of the Outcome Today
cmjoyce113 replied to JESSEFEFFER's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not seeing our team play yet I think we can beat the Dolphins, Browns and Bucs. Depending on how tonight goes defending Brady and co. we may be able to compete with the Saints. If we can hold Brady and his receivers in check we can do the same with Brees. Truthfully I think our D will keep us in tonights game. If we can put up 20 to 25 points between offense, defense and special teams I think that our D can keep it in that range to give us a shot at a win. -
I hope we win just to get the "experts" to STFU

It is MNF ... the Bills only get killed on SNF... I see it being a close game until the waining seconds when the Bills break our hearts... kinda like the Browns Monday nighter and the Cowbots Monday nighter. -
I always like him too but I didn't see many plays out of him in todays game. He is defnitly on the down side of his career.

That is the movie. I know it was a random post but it came to mind and I assumed someone would know what I was talking about. thanks

nfl.com says Orakpo had 2 tackles and Fletcher had 11-7 assited... I don't know if that means 11 solo because when I was watching the game I watch Fletcher get his 16th tackle and they showed the stat. I am thinking he ended up with 18 tackles today but nfl.com does not make it clear how their stats are broken down. He was all over the field though. Didn't notice Orakpo much. He didn't do anything significant. I actually have a feeling Maybin will make atleast 1 big play tomorrow night... maybe its just hope but we will see.
-
I know this is random but does any one remember the movie that was based on or around Doug Flutie or something like that? I think it came out in 99 or 2000... I believe it was based on the Bills as well. Not sure why I thought about this but I was wondering if anyone knew the name of it.

good news for the Bills - week 3
cmjoyce113 replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think he finally finished that. I think that was part of the contingency of him getting reinstated by the leauge. I could be wrong though. -
Collinsworth it terrible at what he does. Even Larry Fitzgerald tweeted during the game saying he is over critical. I for one can't stand listening to him.
-
he was listed on the injury report with a knee injury and limited participation in practice. Does anyone know how serious this is and if it will have any effect on him at all Monday? I am not asking if he will play because I don't that is even a question but will this slow him down against T.O.?
-
I am not saying it is what is happening or has happened but he has done stranger things. They may not be "that concerned" with the Bills but they are concerned about making sure they win and they will do it at all costs. I just wanted to put it out there to see what you guys all thought. It isn't what I think is happening just an idea.
