I'd like to see Steve come in and play as well. It's unfortunate we don't have Lynch this week cuz Freddie can play out there in the slot as well. The other thing u can look for is to have Nelson in the slot with Fine at T.E. I am sure that Roscoe and or Reed will be ready to go by Sunday.

PFW audibles - Bills v. Pats
cmjoyce113 replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What he said... You can't duplicate that second throw and catch. They were incredible... coverage was there on that one. -
I think what we do with Owens all depens on if Hardy gets on the field and how the rest of the season plays out. If Owens opens things up and Evans has 10 td's this year or Owens has 10 td's or they combine for 15, 16 td's I think we keep him. If things fall off from here there's no sense in paying him. Also if we must I could see us franchising him for the year and paying him top dollar. The only way we resign him or tag him is if he puts up big numbers and Evans does the same. I think it is quickly becoming clear Evans can't handle #1 alone.

Why the hell would we sign Runyan? None of the other 31 teams have...he is past his prime... why don't we sign Marvin Harrison today. I am sick of people bitching about who we wont sign when no one else signs them either. I can guarentee its not cost. Maybe some of these guys that sound good wont fit our system, or don't have left what it takes to play a full year?

I think with the rule changes April is still trying to figure the whole thing out. I think McGee would help however I think McKelvin will also have a better week. Now the fumble is behind him and he has another game under his belt.
-
Does anyone know if he has some kind of injury? It came to thought that maybe it is because he is on the trade block. I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see him inactive for this weeks game.

Why not re-sign Walker?

I guess my question is why would we resign Walker? -
How Do We Beat Brees this week?
cmjoyce113 replied to billsguy512's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I felt like when the nickel package checked into the game last week we got beat. I think we had Kelsay, Maybin, and Schobel in at the same time in this package. We weren't getting pressure and receivers had time to get open. This will have been seen on film and they will fix this by putting lineman in who can pressure the QB or not running this scheme as much. Truthfully I think if we put up 28 points we will win this game. -
Saints Favored by 6 points...
cmjoyce113 replied to billsguy512's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think it is funny that everyone says the Bills D has been picked apart by the pass the last 2 weeks. We shut down the run and both the Pats and Bucs were playing from behind the entire game. Do you expect them to run to get back into it? -
These are the results of the meeting of the minds?
cmjoyce113 replied to VJ91's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I dont understand why some people are so quick to B word about everything the Bills do. I think we are headed in the right direction and I will say it... I think Russ Brandon is doing a GREAT job! I am going to let them do what they do and I will watch the games. -
For those who like to compare/contrast
cmjoyce113 replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
IF the Bills were 2-0 they would still be around 16... no one respects them and I am fine with that. -
He is doing a great job but this is a joke of a post. He will remain loyal to Buffalo and Buffalo will do the same. You see few problems with guys that are loyal to Buffalo... I am not saying I like any of these moves but they all have been loyal and worked hard in Buffalo and got paid... Dick Jauron Chris Kelsay Marcus Stroud Terrence McGee Fred Jackson Lee Evans So I am not too worried about it.

Jackson putting his name next to OJ/Thurman?
cmjoyce113 replied to Coach Klein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It will be interesting to see what happens with the use of the no huddle. It is going to be 1 guy a series pretty much with the lack of substitutions. I think Freddy is much better right now but Marshawn might shine with the young line getting the push they are. It's going to be interesting to see how AVP uses the 2 of when he comes back... wouldn't be surprised to see them both on the field... especially Freddy split out and Marshawn in the backfield. -
And last year the Bills were in the top 5 when they were 4-0. I hope they are 22 right until the last week of the season when we clinch a playoff birth for the first time in 10 years. I am not putting stock in anything anyone says...1 week at a time for me this year. I am not getting excited until that playoff field is actually set...until then I will treat it week by week. Good win Sunday but we got a tough one ahead of us...
-
I think there is no shot. He isn't fit to run the no huddle. We want athletic speed guys on the field. I have no problem with the guys who have been playing. Jonathan Scott will do fine at RT. Everyone is ready to say that the Russ does a bad job with talent on this team but this is his 2nd full season as GM and things start to be turning around. I'm on for the ride because I think he has us moving in the right direction.
-
I am really sick of Brett Favre... He makes up more injuries... cracked rip before the season, fingernail, torn bicep, whats next? Is he gonna go blind and play through that?
-
I think you can talk about the BIlls having a shot at the East because the Patriots flat out aren't that good this year and the Jets will hit some rough spots with the rookie. It might not happen every week but they will have a few games where he plays like a rookie and the Defense can't do it every week. For that reason the Bills have a chance...has nothing to do with Buffalo being good. I think the East is an average division at best this year.
-
Who did you want them to spend big money on? Runyan? Levi Jones? Bring Langston Walker back... none of them will fit the no huddle. Not to mention what's the problem with our line right now? Our offense through 2 games is performing better than it has in 10 years. I'm fine with the youth movement.

Roscoe Parrish Back On The Trade Block
cmjoyce113 replied to BillsGuyInMalta's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Roscoe is very over rated and wouldn't care if he is cut. He costs us first downs and valuable yards by running backwards quite a bit. I don't see it as a loss without him. -
I have Directv and its the same... Fox's HD for sports blows... CBS is head and shoulders above them at this point.
-
The Falcons should have that division wrapped up by then so I think thats a W... The Colts might not be that good... they played a 12-10 game against the Jags last week and they may lose to the Dolphins tonight. I think we will split wtih the Jets as well. Also the Titans may not be as tough as they were thought to be at 0-2 playing the Jets in Week 3. I am taking 1 game at a time. If we are 7-1 at the break I am not calling playoffs...5-0 led to shiii last year so I am not intersted in doing that this time around. I do however think the Bills schedule is looking a lot more favorable than originally anticipated.

The last Watson TD on Mon Night
cmjoyce113 replied to grammer_police's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The difference was that Watson didn't bobble the ball and the receiver in the Oakland game did. That is what made that not a catch. -
He was not on yesterdays injury report as limited in practice or out of practice so that must be a good sign. We didn't see Josh Reed, T.O., Lee, or Parrish last week so I don't know if it will matter if he's even active.
