I have been watching Matt Schaub play against the Redskins, he has been sacked five times and been under duress every time he goes to throw the ball all day long. His two wide receivers have caught 22 passes between them, Schaub has 400 yards down field. A real Quarterback throws the ball down field, only 1 pass thrown to your number one receiver. I am sorry sir, you are wrong, this is not about the O-Line, Trent Edwards is the worst Quarterback in the NFL period!

I have been impressed with his performance in the first half. If he does not come out this year, I would hate to have to be bad enough this year and next in order to draft him.

IMO in the coming weeks people will start getting off the Bell bashing, I think he is going to come around, Merideth may make a decent RT, Green on the other hand; if Green was sent to the UFL, as far as I know there are no forum boards there, but they would make one up just to bash him, he is just terrible!

What top FA's are you referring to not wanting to come here? Personally, I did not see a whole lot out there that I would have been willing to pay more than they were worth to obtain. The free agent market this year stunk to high heaven.

Notice if you watched the game again, yes it was Bell's man who got the sack. However, Bell was not in on that play, it was Meredith that gave up the sack, not Bell. I re-watched the game and the offensive line was way less offensive then I believed them to have been. This loss can be pinned on Trent Edwards.

It is really difficult to establish the run when the defense has no fear of the pass. The Dolphins dared Edwards to beat them, and he did not.

With the exception of Green who was horrible, the rest of the line did not play terrible. The Dolphins played the run and dared Trent Edwards to beat them, and he failed miserably! For the most part he had NFL acceptable time to throw passes, he could not or would not make a quick decision, held the ball too long and gave the appearance that he did not have enough time. In other words, he was terrible.
