  1. hahahaha, yeah the home really can't be THAT great...
  2. Yes, you are a bad person. Who would wish that their "great uncle" would die so that their favorite "home" would be good again? Seriously dude, get a life.
  3. I was actually being sarcastic. I'd love to have Dungy involved the Bills. He's a great coach a class act. But I agree, he's probably not interested.
  4. This isn't the right forum for this discussion.
  5. I like how respectful everyone can be to one another on this board....
  6. oh yeah, Tony Dungy is a terrible coach. Compared with who we've had running our team, Dungy would be a huge improvment. That said, there is no way he'd come out of retirement for a team like the Bills. 7. It's funny, RW just can't win on this board can he...? He's stupid for keeping him, he's stupid for firing him... Personally, I think RW was right for firing him when he did. There is no sense in keeping Jauron around if each week the Bills have been looking worse and worse. Maybe if he fires him, he can see if Fewell can cut it as a headcoach. And, it'll probably send a message to everyone on the roster that they better start playing their a$$ off or they may be next. And yes, it probably was a message to the fans too. He wants the fans to know that he is serious about winning. And besides, as some posted earlier, it would be classless for RW to already start interviewing someone before they fired Jauron.
  8. I'd think DJ is gone at the end of the season. I think Guy & Modrak are retained though. I don't think they have done a good job (Guy in particular) but the problem is, who do you get to run the show for Buffalo? Everyone wants a new GM but I'm not sure who we could get that would be any better. Really, is there a good potential GM out there waiting for a job? And besides, I doubt RW would want another potential Tom Donahue situation.
  9. Consider the hot coordinator. A GM must be in place for this to have a chance of working. Our hope is that Ralph finds lightning in a bottle twice in his lifetime. Who's the next Bill Polian? I was listening to John Clayton's radio show a few days back and he was talking about how Seattle might want to get a new GM. The problem with that is, in his mind, there aren't any good potential GMs out there looking for a job. In his mind, all of the good GMs are already working. Most of the Bills fans want a new GM but really, who could get?
  10. totally agree. Everyone in Buffalo knew we needed a big target a WR that year. We weren't looking for another small quick receiver, we wanted a target in the redzone. It's easy after the fact to be critical of the Bills for drafting the "wrong" WR but after the draft I think most everyone was happy we drafted Hardy.
  11. seriously, even when a Bills players does something good, there has to be people on this board that will trash him. Ellison isn't a great LB I admit, but he isn't as bad as some people on this board believe. He's second in the league in tackles. Not the most important state sure but let's give credit where credit is due.
  12. A couple of Ohio State alums sticking together. Don't read more into it than is really there....
  13. I doubt most people would agree with this. i'm sure there are plenty of folks in here that might think that but I'm not thinking this is all TE's fault. Has DJ ever had a decent offense while he was a head coach? IMHO, he wants a conservative offense that plays not to lose. Given a different coach and different coaching philosophy I think TE could be a quality starter in this league. Probably not a pro bowler but a decent starter...
  14. totally agree. A team toward the end of the draft would very tempted to draft him especially if they wouldn't need to rush him in the lineup. Personally, I could could see a team like Dallas drafting him. But I wouldn't be shocked to see him shut it down for this year and come back for one more year at Oklahoma.
  15. Personally, I'd be thrilled to see Buffalo draft a tackle (Russell Okung, Bryan Bulaga, Trent Williams, Charles Brown or Bruce Campbell) It seems to me that is our biggest problem area on the team. If we end up selecting somewhere in the top 5 though, maybe it would be wise to consider a QB.
  16. i agree. It's really unlikely that Jauron will be fired anytime soon. I assumed going into this season that Jauron would be fired after the season if we didn't make the playoffs. At this point, I'm hoping we get a well qualified GM to run the team and I really don't care who is coaching. It doesn't matter to me if he's an anonymous assistant coach somewhere or someone like Cowher.
  17. I totally agree. As much as I'd love to believe this rumor, there is no way this is true. RW will ride this season out with Jauron and make his decision in the off season.
  18. I'm willing to be patient with Wood and Levitre. I think they'll both turn out to be solid linemen for us. IMHO, the problems with our line have more to do with our tackles than anything else.
  19. It really depends on our next coach but I see him at the very least being a backup. Probably being a starter though. the problem is who else is out there that can do any better given our terrible O-line?
  20. Agreed, what else is he supposed to say? I think by this point everyone inside the locker room must be aware that Dick will be fired by the at least the end of the season. What would be the point in him attacking his coach?
  21. At this point, I'd take a coach that has been to the playoffs more than once...
  22. I think drafting a LT would be a great move. But really, if we can get a franchise type QB with the first overall pick, I don't see how you can pass that up.... Plus, I think we have Edwards signed through 2011 so maybe he could start for one more year and then we slowly ease a rookie QB into the line-up.
  23. God, I wish we still had Polian. Anyone know of any good potential GMs that might be available? Polian would never come back so I'm not even hoping.
  24. Not saying Marty wouldn't make a good GM. Maybe he could but has he ever had a say in draft/free agency? Just wondering really. I know in San Diego he was just the coach.
