  1. There are no such things as "throwaway" games to a 4-12 franchise. If any of these players viewed this game as a throw away then they shouldn't be playing in the NFL. At 4-12, you play for pride, you play for respect, you play for a spot on the roster. Today was Brohms day to prove that he belonged on this team, and he didn't do it. The players didn't rally behind him, and it didn't look like he did much to try to rally them.
  2. Ok, so in Simon's original post (which he prematurely closed) he wanted specifics as to why Brohm didn't do well. This is the best specific I can come up with. 10/23 106yds. 0 touchdowns, 3 int. AGAINST THE JETS BACKUPS Quite frankly, you don't need specifics, you need this, he hasn't won a game in the NFL YET. That is all I need. I am sorry, but Brohm isn't it. He plays terrible. Spare me the" he hasn't played the entire season", I don't want to hear it. Matt Ryans first game EVER, in fact, first PASS EVER in the NFL was a touchdown, right? So spare the excuses. He didn't cut it in GB, was outplayed by Flynn for the backup role, and he isn't cutting it here either. A lot of players aren't cutting it on this franchise, and it is time that these players go. Brohm is one of them, unfortunately. I had hoped that he would have succeeded, but as in GB, that simply is not the case here in Buffalo. Chan said "this is a tough game, for tough people" and we don't have many tough people on this team. The 3rd pick in the draft should not be used on one person, it should be used wisely to gain more positions in the draft so that this team can start to stockpile talented players. I hate to say it, but if you want to see a team run the draft effectively just look at Belicheck and the Patriots.
  3. Don't forget the 10 no, wait, 11 turnovers in the last two games.
  4. Simon. If I may. I didn't expect much from brohm. But I expected better. The jets secondary is out! now I will admit that it isn't all his fault, but he shoulders a lot of the blame.
  5. Ok. So here are a few thoughts from me. Brohm is not a viable option. There should be a moratorium put on future QB discussions. This draft has to be about defense! This team still has a lot of soul searching to do when third stringers are trouncing our first teamers.
  6. I sure do like Fred Jackson. He never gives up. True bright spot on this team.
  7. I don't see Mckelvin on the roster much longer unfortunately. I don't think chan is the type to put up with That many mistakes.
  8. Wow. Absolutely amazing. Thank you. I feel like the carolina panthers of posting on blogs.
  9. Let's try this again. This is the way the season needs to end. This will give the front office the "film" it needs to trim the fat on this franchise.
  10. Yeah. Johnson needs to be riding pine. I don't like him anymore. Too many mistakes not enough positives.
  11. I don't think there is an Emoticon that could accurately depict what my mind is going through watching that. I would have to combo a bunch of them together, so here we go.....
  12. Shoulda drafted Tebow. Not sayin, just sayin.
  13. The Bills traded him to Carolina for their first round draft pick in the 2011 draft!!!!
  14. My wife goes to stores and uses coupons, and mixed with some rebates she actually makes money on the venture. She doesn't spend a lot of time researching the stuff. For example, she got a Foodsaver for $26, when the normal price is $80. It isn't THAT hard to do, and it doesn't take long to do it. The show was a "hoarders" show thats focus was on the extreme cases of coupon clipping. One person dumpster dived for coupons. Coupons are a very smart, and easy way to save money.
  15. You all can say what you want about the Bills, but they are moving in the RIGHT direction. They unloaded the inconsistent, overly cautious Edwards, the malcontent Marshawn, and it seems like they are trying NOT to overpay Whitner. They drafted a good future running back to compliment Fred Jackson, a wide receiver that has promise (but unfortunately was injured), a good defensive tackle, and end, and pass rushing linebacker to replace Maybin. The crop of undrafted free agents has done great! As far as Modrak goes, what if he isn't the big shot caller on draft day that everyone makes him out to be? If I remember correctly Modrak didn't want Maybin, but Juaron needed a "miracle" pick and overrode him. Maybe I am wrong, but it seems like all Modrak does is suggest who to pick, and the final approval went with Juaron. That to me would explain all of the defensive backs drafted during the Juaron years. There is no question that this franchise has suffered deeply without a true GM, sorry, but this includes Marv. We finally have a true GM, the best GM since Polian. The Bills may finish 4-12, but it was arguably the most exciting gut wrenching 4-12 I have ever seen. Here is to a better Bills franchise, no lock out in 2011, a rookie salary cap, and no more Toronto series! HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!!! I love you guys.
  16. I prefer consuming massive quantities of lentils to cure my hangovers.
  17. 5 turnovers today. Who the heck cares what the PUNTER did on his TWO punts. Say the Patriots don't score on those two possessions the Bills would still have lost.
  18. +1. I would like to see David Nelson do the foot fetish celebration. I think that on this one Stevie should just, well, not do THAT.
