  1. depends on the beer. I couldn't chug a pale ale to save my life, but I could chug down Guiness after Guiness after Guiness.
  2. Coulda, shoulda, woulda, but didn't. Please move on. None of us can do anything about it.
  3. People don't lie on the Internet do they?
  4. And the squat machine, where you lie on your back, and push the weight up. Accident looking for a place to happen.
  5. I hate when my wife uses her coupons to get one ply. Nothing worse than breakthroughs with paperwork. I prefer AngelSoft.
  6. Congrats! My little one is now 8 years old. Time flies. Savor every moment.
  7. I had chicken chili tonight. With two oranges for dessert.
  8. I used to go to the gym daily, and looked good. Then I stopped, got married, had a child, gained 60lbs. Now I am considered morbidly obese, with high blood pressure. However, my wife still thinks that my 315 pound frame is still sexy. There really is no point to this is there? I hated the gym. I need to go but I don't miss it. I recommend shelling out the money for a home gym. Jog around the neighborhood for your cardio, hit the weights in your garage, or spare room, or basement, or wherever the hell you put it. You spend more up front (a good gym could cost a couple thousand), but you don't have to worry about contracts, mirrors, hot chicks on the machine next to you, or the roided out jerk wanting you to hurry up so he can get his set in.
  9. Gailey on Maybin "He's on the outside looking in". Also, defensive staff will remain intact next year. Defense will probably run a multiple front system. I wonder how that will translate to the draft?
  10. I just made a huge batch of brownies. it is still hot, and I plopped a couple scoops of triple vanilla ice cream on top.
  11. Wasn't Marshawn an alternate, there only because someone was hurt? Agree on everything but McKelvin. I don't know what happened, but after the New England fumble he has been terrible. I thought he was going to be a great player too.
  12. Fine, Stevie is a great #1 receiver for the Bills. I was wrong, you all were right. I am sorry that I have high expectations for talented athletes. I mean, why would I want a guy like Jerry Rice on my team with his "2.6"non clutch drops, or whatever you googled. I will remain content with Stevie Johnson dropping balls when it matters most. I will be content with Stevie Johnson dropping balls that no one should drop. I will be content with mediocrity on this team. I will be content with 4-12, 6-10, 7-9, NEVER contending in the division, and never striving for greatness. I will never again argue with you guys. Brohm is a reliable backup too.
  13. I use Rice as an example because I am from Northern California and Jerry Rice was a household name. Sorry, I guess my Dad was right when he said that watching the Niners success in the 80's and 90's may have spoiled me as a football fan. Mix in any good #1 WR on a team instead of Rice, say Vince Jackson, or Brandon Marshall, or Deion Branch, or hell, Andre Reed. They won't drop passes that Stevie has dropped. They are known as being clutch guys. Guys that you can go to when the game is on the line, #1 wide receivers for their teams. Johnson isn't. I like him, but he isn't clutch, he has shown us that. He isn't the #1 receiver for this franchise. Evans still is. Evans has proven himself.
  14. Regarding Manning: That was Mannings first year in the league. There is a learning curve there. Brohm is no rookie. He has been in the league 3-4 years now. He has learned behind one of the best in Aaron Rodgers, and Brett Farve (I think he was there at the end of Farves tenure in GB). At some point it is either sink or swim, Brohm sunk. As far as the backups go. Brohm takes reps with the second team. He should know these linemen, and receivers he is throwing too then. He should know they types of routes they run, their speed, and their abilities. I understand it is practice, but Fitz kept David Nelson, Roosevelt, Jones and others behind at practice when Evans went down to better prepare them. At some point as a QB you need to step up and show leadership. He has also failed in that respect. I hate to do it, but I am going to bring up Frank Reich. He was a leader when he was on the field, as a QB should be. Whether your a backup or not, when you are on the field, then it is your team that you are leading. Today, Fitz wasn't the leader, Brohm was. Fitz was a spectator only.
  15. Johnson may be getting a lot of looks, enough to make him a #1 WR, but top receivers don't drop game winning balls in OT, when the ball was delivered perfectly. When I think #1 WR, I think Jerry Rice. He was CLUTCH! Johnson is nowhere near clutch.
