Flags of our fathers is the only book I know of that has to do with Iwo. My wife's grandfather fought on Iwo. He doesn't talk much about it. What he has talked about is truly horrifying for a person in their late teens to early twenties to go through.

Visit Gettysburg and Antietam battlefields. Iwo jima, Normandy, Bastogne. Not really sure why. Just totally fascinated with the history of these places. I want to take a self guided tour. Stray off the beaten path. Crawl through the tunnels, bunkers, rocks, etc.

I joined this forum so that I could interact with other Bills fans and talk Bills football, and maybe get some more in depth knowledge from people that actually get to go to the games. When I joined in 2008 I had never heard of John Wawrow, Tim Graham, and Lori Chase. However because of this forum I got to know the work of John, Tim, and Lori and thoroughly enjoy their writings whether I agree with it or not. Is it just me or has the overall attitude of this forum taken a drastic turn for the worse? In my short time here I've seen some pretty respectful posters basically get run out of here by disrespectful posters. People like Tim Graham, and Lori. I mean, for Christ's sake, there are threads in which posters are wishing for Ralph Wilson's death! What the hell is wrong with us? Maybe WE ALL should take a step back (myself included) and start treating everyone on this forum with a little more respect?

Don't forget about Greg Williams (DC of the Saints). Mike Mularkey (OC of the Falcons), Wade Phillips too.

I disagree with the McIntyre idea. The Bills need him on the team. I think Fred would be a more productive running back with McIntyre in the back field with him. Instead of Freddie picking up blitzers, McIntyre could do it, and allow Fred to be the safety valve. Which would also force the defense to leave a LB to cover Fred, thus possibly taking a blitzer away, or allowing Chandler, or Nelson to be open. I believe the offense should use McIntyre more, a lot more. Especially since the defense is so bad.
